I have written so many things I didn't expect since Veilguard came out. (By the way I should maybe say that "The Sacred and the Profane" was me, which is how I ended up on this thread speculating about the One Ring.)

And you'd have to worry about how the Ring might manipulate the Taint. (Which is not a sentence I was expecting to write on sfw Bluesky.)

... Extremely compelling point. I withdraw my suggestion. Give it to the mabari.

Aveline. Just... completely oblivious to the fact that it's the One Ring. Doesn't even realize it has an effect on other people. Thinks it's nice, but not her style.

As much as I love all of your work, I have to admit that Tarquin's hair makes this one a genuine favourite.

Hahaha, the £125 price tag must be because it's one of the rare unsigned copies...

Please tell me I've told you about the time I tried to get an unsigned copy of Gary's Business Unusual (there was a reason it had to be unsigned, I promise) only to be offered three signed ones and told that the unsigned ones were far rarer...

I'm so happy you enjoyed this! It's just so WEIRD and so NICHE and it was so much FUN and it's so nice that even something this odd has a place in fandom. (And there are absolutely more to come. We... might have a problem.)

That's simultaneously so kind and so surprising, but I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I wonder what it is about this strange AU that just seems to make sense.

Came to your account to find the plain dealings on this. 10/10 response.

I'd love to put Outside In in our local library if that's an option? They also love having new books with local authors/contributors. (Also I would 100% buy a set of faulty books for myself if you'd consider selling – shiny new ones remain beyond my means!)

I am always up for making books. We need books. We need so many books.

Fair! It's got to be what works. I'm just feeling particularly feral about the idea of writing Outside In-style "essays" about... a lot of things right now and thought I'd ask!

THEM! is one of my all-time favourites. Somehow, I loved it as a child, yet The Deadly Mantis terrified me for years. More people should see both.

Then we shall talk! 💙 (Dragon Age knowledge totally unnecessary, but I have A LOT of thoughts about character-driven stories that are highly relevant to both comics and Dragon Age, which is where it mostly comes out.)

... and Dragon Age comics...

I'm currently mostly talking about Dragon Age, but when I'm normal, I spend a disproportionate amount of time talking about comics. And science.

Right? I didn't expect detailed explanations, but I'd have thought I'd get more than one (non-)response.

About a year ago, I reached out to EVERY publisher/organization with a ≥20 impact factor journal. I asked about how their processes accommodated disabled researchers, plans to increase accessibility, etc. I got one (one! ONE!) response... and it was "we can't talk about that.

Oh, I wouldn't want to presume! I just love your painterly colouring style with the comic-style inks. I can think of so many things I'd like to see realized in that style if you're ever open to it.
# don't look at me I'm still in my Dragon Age trash phase
