I feel like this administration has been very transparent that they want everything to be built in America, by Americans. Of course in today's world, that's lunacy, but this is what they're trying to accomplish, so his response makes sense in that context I feel.

I've now taken on the attitude that I am a billionaire. Let the money start flowing in folks! I've already threw my life savings into a deposit for a yacht. My attitude will help me pay it in full and replenish all that lost savings by the end of the year 😎

Imagine if every time some radicalized Christian did something, they tried to call for the ousting of a Christian member of congress.

If EP cannot be willing to lean on these guys, he has no one to blame but himself. I've been a big EP supporter, even this year, but man, he seems to be the common denominator over every issue/rift on the team. Acting like a spoiled baby. Perhaps it's time for a fresh start after all.

counter-argument. There's not many teams out there who have ownership and management wanting to win now as much as Vancouver. You say they want to play on a winning team, well mgmt is doing what they can to make that come to fruition.

This seems so ridiculous to me. Every team in the NHL has star players with term remaining on their contracts. Do they all ask if said player is staying or not? Do people ask that of McDavid before signing in EDM?? Yeah this season hurt, but it's now resolved. Time to move on.

And what does Harvard give the government in return? Oh, such things as diabetes management, obesity treatment, tackling multiple sclerosis, improving quantum computing, discovering the human genome project, which helped understand, prevent and treat a wide range of diseases, including HIV

Ah yes, Trump practicing his favourite hobby/pastime, trying to rile up foreign leaders by ambushing them in public for the world to see, acting like a bully. At this rate, he'll be practicing this more than golf!

"Press secretary, why do you say that and then Trump posts on TS that he hates Taylor Swift?"
"Clearly the president was being facetious in his comments, just trying to get a rise out of the leftist woke media".
Every contradiction or show of hypocrisy is met with the same answer.

Not really... They want him to play better. You earn your time on the field, you earn your targets. He has not earned them, and his combine results have not been reflected on his on-field performance. End of story.

It sounds to me like they won't actually do anything, other than syphon off $500B from the government to use those funds as they see fit/line their pockets.

She's not wrong. habeas corpus, once removed, gives the president a constitutional right to remove people from the country. That's the trick. It has to be suspended, then he's legally free to do whatever he wants. scary thing is, they want the power to suspend it without congress support.

and his explanation will be the cookie cutter response from every republican who spoke out about Trump in the past, who now hold positions of power in his administration: "I got educated and changed my opinion", or "my views changed once I saw the good he was saying he would do". Shame on them all.

democrat leaders still spineless and giving political correct responses, even staring in the face of betrayal. This is why they continue to lose respect from the voting public.

So many times, this is the answer from the people in a position of authority in those regards. How many times do you hear Trump say, this is the first I'm hearing about it? This is their job. Their responsibility. Their expectation to know. Quite frankly, their failure in their role, if they don't.
