I had to check the OP's profile to see if this was a wind up or not! Kiddo1 had a holiday in Brisbane earlier this year & all the cafe tables had ibis sprays (water).

So she's going to stop the government spending money on security at Mar a lago?

Complete with a rape threat. Is that what you have to do?

I went to a group for parents of trans kids (although mine is an adult). Every single parent described their kid as autistic or AuADHD. I put it down to introspection. The NT go through life doing the “right thing” easily while the ND are thoughtful about how & why they are out of step.

I find it amusing that when I do think about letterman jackets I think of the finale of Grease.

Apparently I should have understood from the name but typically, Americans don't register that other people don't understand every nuance of American life. I eventually worked out it was a take on Springsteen's Glory Days & men who peak in high school.

I had a hilarious exchange on twitter when I first encountered the 3yearletterman account and the pile-on was intense. I ended up trolling the trolls and they got more intense.

That's terrifying!

I'd sack him but respect that he knew when he'd reached the end of his skill set. That understanding of your own limitations doesn't seem particularly prevalent in some circles.

A completely unnecessary death.

When they both sat forward in their chairs - it was show time! Who knew Tucker had it in him!

Good! I'm a tourist and back in April I got hurt in Florida. At home, I'd have checked in with a drop-in clinic. I have insurance but what stopped me was not trusting to be given safe pain meds.

They got a follow 🤣 The US needs to see how the rest of the world sees it. In his first term Trump ranted that the world was laughing at the US. He never accepted that it was personal.

Some people prefer weekly meetings where its read to them!

It's what were all thinking!

The motorbikes are the least utilised. I'd quite like an escooter because they're fun but need the exercise on the real bike.

We've gone down to one car but have motorbikes, real bikes, and public transport. Now that I'm not ferrying kids about I can only see one scenario for needing the car - and that is to go mountain biking or hiking. Groceries are not a problem with a backpack but I will get panniers.

It might be built into us but the vast majority of people have limited curiosity and explore nothing! Thank goodness for the ADHD crowd!

And this man openly admitted his crimes.

Slow to mention it! Not good enough.

I bet he gets “due process”!

In the USA its your patriotic duty to be healthy! (rfk) I really thought covid had killed the “soldier on” mentality but noooo

The guy holding the drone above his head is hilarious. Every influencer has one that “tags along” but the US military doesn't even have the battery life to fly one along the parade route 🤦‍♀️

Better the devil you know, the wombat allocation system might replace him with a less easily deterred wombat.

A man killed at the Utah demonstration because cops can't aim straight and I find out from NZ media!

Oops, looks like its time to shop for a new mobile service.

You know what makes you bulky? Obesity! Every time I yo-yo to skinny through running, cycling, or swimming I can't believe how narrow my shoulders are.

It all seems so unnecessary. I was asked to meet a couple last year who have a trans teenager. They told us about all the steps they'd taken to convince their kid to be cis - for years! I hope they come around before they cause permanent harm.

So outdated I had to google it. The US can't let this guy stay in this role.

Oh piss off.

Interesting conclusion. FWIW I'd vote against expanding our euthanasia legislation because I've seen too many people who would exploit it to despatch troublesome family members. But that means we’ll keep having horrific suicide stats because nothing else will change.
comment in response to post
And that's a definite problem. Safeguarding so that elder neglect doesn't mean old people are killed, while doing nothing to prevent elder neglect. How do you force families to spend time together? Making sure we have resources to support a group often comes at the expense of another.
comment in response to post
Not so, my approach is from a mental health perspective. Why should we be forced to commit suicide & traumatise others if our lives are unbearable? Try getting mental health support in NZ - its virtually impossible until you're at an obvious crisis point, and not at all if you're masking.
comment in response to post
The catch-22 of not offering euthanasia while people aren't adequately supported but forcing them live while they aren't adequately supported.

That was a joke, though, right? Ad paid by Fight, Fight, Fight etc

They forget that every trans person has parents, siblings, friends & neighbours. Trans people don't stand alone - it might feel like it sometimes but we are there. Terfs would do well to remember that.

Oh wow. So much more than I expected. Totally blown away. Can't wait to wade through my photos and video.

And to the rest of the world. That looks like a small-town Memorial Day crowd. The women and men involved must have been dying inside.
