I’d never really thought much about retirement but now, as I turn 60, barely a day goes by… And I rather like my work, just not as much as I like doing lots of other stuff.
Courageous decision you’ve made. Best of luck!

I read that, apparently, there's real interest in preserving the exploding truck. I can't reliably say which company's spokesperson was interviewed for the piece - I think it was in The Star - but it sounded credible enough. Fingers crossed, I s'pose.

Look forward to reading! Wonderful to see this topic covered. Having had a child go through cancer at 8, the recovery continues now at 19 - physical to some extent, but emotionally and psychological to a substantial extent.

Dumbass! The is looking like rapid American decline. The historian Morris Berman says maybe it’s for the best if the decline is hastened. I don’t buy into full-scale collapse. The wrong people tend to get hurt the most. We have to do better than whatever the hell this is . (6/6)

The overblown, overfed, orange horror is barely weeks into his administration, already turning more countries against America - some with radical & violent elements eager to attack & terrorize innocent people. (4/6)

The schoolyard bully can force compliance, sure. But when the moment is right, his targets will sabotage or undermine him without hesitation. (3/6)

This isn’t a sophisticated America. Not a modern, smart, wily, or clever America. This is schoolyard bully America—strong yet weak, headstrong, careless, self-congratulating, and prone to violence. (2/6)

A 'huge amount of women'? I'm imagining women being poured like sugar from a Redpath bag.
(Sorry, couldn't help make a smart-ass comment).
