Right, and many women here change their names when they marry, and if they don't have the right documents to show that they are the same person as their birth certificate, they can be prevented from voting. It is already happening.

Mine usually start with a short sentence or phrase that isn't connected to anything else. Sometimes it's just a single word or a name.

Yeh, I should probably slow down and wait for something to happen with those pending submissions. I feel pretty confident that about half of them will be rejected, and then I'll re-submit elsewhere. I use the submission tracker on Duotrope so I know what's happening.

I think my struggles with plot are the reason I started writing flash fiction.
