Instead of instigating a nuclear war, global leaders should settle their beefs one-on-one in a car park

Weird how Westerners only care about women’s rights in Iran when they want to bomb Iran

I deadset had a parent demand I not fall pregnant at parent teacher one year, because it would be disruptive to her child’s learning if I went on maternity leave

Hey so is Trump going to face any meaningful consequences for bombing Iran without congressional approval or is this just a regular Saturday in the US now?

I told you. www.psychologytoday.com/au/blog/urba...

If people pay Rowling money I respect them less because they're funding transphobia, but if they engage with HP content, even if they don't pay her money, I respect them less for liking a series that has no depth at all

EXTREMELY ANNOYING The climate movement spent millions of $ over decades focusing on just transition, helping displaced workers, yet climate action still gets broadly criticised as causing 'job losses' Tech bros pop up saying "I WANT TO DESTROYJOBS ASAP" and get a glowing write-up in the NYT 🤨🧐🆒🗑️

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones" - Albert Einstein

I really wish that countries would all just govern their citizens fairly with equal rights for all and stay out of each other’s business.

I think a major reason large creators don’t speak out about injustices online is down to chronically online leftists. The minute somebody big posts about an issue there’s guaranteed to be 100’s of comments and stitches dragging them for not saying anything soon enough or accusing them of pandering

Did you see the Choice sunscreen testing results? Here's an SPF deep dive! Key points: Sunscreens are very effective, these results do not indicate you should lose faith in them SPF testing is imprecise - this is an inherent limitation of the test, lots of variation even if nothing's gone "wrong"

When I was at uni the joke was that the Cancer Council sunscreens were designed to give people skin cancer, because anybody who used it was sure to burn. And now look.

The craziest thing about being a millennial parent is discovering how easy it is to not throw your kids into furniture when they spill juice

My daughter is in London and just saw this advert in a train station

Trump: AND we might leave AUKUS Australia:

‘I asked chat gpt’ ‘I asked grok’ ok well I asked a group of autistic people assuming one of them would have it in their special interest

Super late to the party on this, but I don’t think it matters what kind of bullets that cop shot the Australian reporter with. Cops have no business shooting reporters in the first place.

It’s so wild that the world’s most powerful men are also the world’s most unimpressive men and now their problems are the world’s problems because one has the nuclear codes and the other has all our data.

this is like drake and kendrick lamar but they're both drake

I sent a message complimenting the brilliant customer service I received at Mecca today and included that the workers deserve a pay rise, via their feedback bot.

Those Mormon MomTok ladies would be so much nicer to each other if they were allowed to have coffee and access to reproductive healthcare

I appreciate folks who are in the P&C. But getting emails about donating to the tax-deductible building fund for a public school absolutely infuriates me. This is what inequality looks like. Public Schools in lower socioeconomic areas don’t have building funds, private schools have pools and more.

I have lived through 38 consecutive winters and have been caught off guard by its approach every single time 🥶

GOOD NEWS - among my many hats I'll be contributing to @australiainstitute.org.au's climate and energy analysis :) First post: how the Safeguard Mechanism provides fake regulation for carbon bomb sites like Woodside's North West Shelf

When I was 15 I’d gotten lost and stopped to ask for directions at a construction site. The foreman told me not to walk around a group of workmen Dressed Like That. I was wearing a floor-length peasant skirt.

Every time

Bloody young people, with their principles, intelligence and activism. Why can't they just let CEOs have their air-conned holiday houses, millions in super, millions in salary, unopposed propaganda and direct access to the media?

Talked to the kids about the importance of not using AI for their school work, they were already on board (“It’s always wrong anyway”) but what killed me was how they both mentioned their teachers use it, one having been busted teaching something incorrect in the classroom. TEACHERS KNOCK IT OFF!
