Welp. I’m done with this brand. Instant Pot can fuck all the way off. I have 3 and use one almost daily. I will never buy from them again. 🍽️ www.eater.com/news/886762/...

The milkweed has begun to bloom and the smell in the garden is intoxicating 😵‍💫 🌱 #gardeningfeed

First tomato sighting. This is a new variety for me this year, oxheart. Been growing Amish paste and last year they didn’t perform all that well. So can’t wait to see how these taste and perform. 🌱 #gardeningfeed

This heat sucks all my energy away but I still managed to get the majority of my gardens irrigation reinstalled. 🥵 🌱 #gardeningfeed

Siri, please play Barry White. 🌱

I got excited for a brief moment. Noticed something on the underside of a milkweed leaf and thought I got a monarch visit already! Haven’t even seen an adult yet so was stoked. Walked closer, flipped the leaf over and nope 😭 just a hoverfly larva. While greatly beneficial, still disappointed 🌱

Pease let this be as good as the originals. The trailer is pretty damn funny. 🤞 🍿 #movies #nakedgun youtu.be/hCVH_nyhQsM?...

I think I procrastinated long enough with getting my drip lines set back up. Should have done it last week when it was still hoodie weather. Hopefully when the sun starts going down I can get it done without passing out. 🥵 🌱 #gardeningfeed

First time growing calendula and the first flower is about to open. I’m so excited! 🌱 #gardeningfeed

Too hot and your radish bolted? Wait! Don’t pull it. If you let it flower, not only do you get flowers that pollinators love. After a bit you get radish seed pods, which are edible and are like spicy little green beans! Oh and hundreds of radish seeds for next planting if you let them mature.🌱

Happy Father's Day! I've been seeing a lot of caterpillars on the passion vines, but I just saw this first fritillary yesterday. This is a Variegated Fritillary and caterpillar. #butterflies #nativeplants #gardening 🌱

Was about to cut the lawn and spotted this surprise marigold. Of course I had to save it and replant it somewhere else. 🌱

Slow down there little one. You have some growing up to do first. 🌱

Finding tons of ladybug egg clusters on my plants, and that makes me happy. 🌱

What do you have that is not a planter but is now a planter? This use to be the bottom of a metal chiminea. The top rusted off so it’s now a flower “pot”. Has hens and chicks, feverfew and marigolds in it. 🌱

First swallowtail caterpillar of the season spotted in my dill patch. Bring your hungry babies, I have dill for all! 🌱

One single nasturtium has sprouted. About time! There has to be hundreds of seeds in this one area and one finally broke its shell. 🌱

I was surprised to see an oriole chase this blue jay away seconds after taking this pic. #addbirder #nature #birds 🪶

Guess what time it is! Now to decide if I fry them or pickle them. Decisions… 🌱

It’s snack time. 🌱

I just love how yarrows color shift over time. 🌱

Good news for Joann customers. “Michaels also announced an expansion of its fabric, sewing and yarn assortment, adding over 600 new products to its inventory” www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/a...

Aphids found my milkweed a week ago. So I’ve been spraying them off daily until the lady bug army flies in to take over. First Lady bug showed up today. Call your friends, the aphid buffet is now open! 🌱

Clearly the memo has gone out. Another new garden kitty has shown up today. I think we’re up 6 ferals now that come visit the watering hole. They’re gonna make me poor(er) though with having to buy cat food cause they eat like teenagers. 🌱 #cats #kitty
