I need an explanation of the legalities - don't state governors control the national guard? Who is being sent? I don't understand

It also means capacity can't just pick right up again, even if the regime stops its economic sabotage

How is that even supposed to work? Movies "coming into our country"??
Also, taking bets on how long before the regime is attempting to screen all US produced entertainment for allegedly unpatriotic content ("woke", "dei", etc)

Not sure about crucifix but I think c for calavera = 3rd letter of the alphabet.

There is no such thing as "far left" in US politics. Democrats keep losing because they won't stop chasing the middle instead of actually articulating an alternative and fighting for it.

There is a difference between welcoming, and catering

Oh for fuck's sake! PLEASE give up on this absolute failure of a strategy of just chasing the so-called middle further and further. This is what has gotten us where we are! Ffs!

Since when does "effective leadership" = "everyone at your agency is against you"?
Once was a time when that in itself would cause someone to resign.

Nominating the most laughably unqualified candidates was an intentional ploy to test whether this congress would go along with anything, no matter how patently absurd. If they would not call his bluff on these appointments, they would not stand up to him on anything at all.

Yep, & if the regime had stopped short of targeting them, they would still be perfectly fine with it happening to the left.
BUT we should still embrace any & all rhetoric that is NOW saying we ALL have rights/free speech is for everyone, no matter the source. It's a crack we must widen

I'm just guessing but maybe c for calavera (skull) = third letter of alphabet? Maybe that's the claim? (Marijuana and sonrisa start with the same letter whether Spanish or English)

Somehow I never thought of that aspect of it, damn

I mean yes, except they're probably only asking questions of the brown folks in the first place. In this scenario I think I would instead exercise my right to be loud, by loudly repeating that no one is required to answer any question

THANK YOU for doing this. None of these men should be there, as the conditions amount to torture. If this is indeed a war as the Trump regime insists, then the Geneva conventions apply.

They are ALL wrongly taken, period. 75% have no criminal record. A past criminal record is not grounds for torture and lifelong confinement in a foreign concentration camp.
If this is a "war" as the regime asserts, then every person carrying this out is a war criminal.

Oh no, just pointing out that if this was the reason, we wouldn't have tariffed every other entity in existence (including non countries)

Because it makes more sense for them to curry favor with the ones who actually have power, not the ones who might take it back
