frankly i don't get the obsession over pitch anyway, i mean sure, you sound 'girly' and all but also squealing like a dolphin.

there was a girl (iirc it was mia moore) on twitter saying something to the effect of her emulating women with a deeper register like emma stone, focusing less on pitch and more on intonation and/or cadence, as in vocal inflections prioritized over high/feminine pitch.

people who disagree with me disagree with me on me existing. our differences are not some tax policies that can be debated, negotiated or resolved. it's our lives.

not constitute any ideology, it is the way that is employed to oppress a minority that gives it an inherently harmful (in this case, racist) meaning in said context. /END

how maliciously it is used as a justification to oppress and eradicate any semblance of human rights and dignity for said minority. an analogy is how phrases like 'black people eat chicken and watermelon' is used to further racism and racist ideology. Eating chicken and watermelon in itself does /2

one thing that people like you don't understand, most probably because you never been part of an oppressed minority until you identified as queer/trans, is that no one is arguing against a notion like 'you don't have to do X to be [insert identity]' at its face value meaning, the contention is /1

thank you for affirming my gender! i am another trans woman refuting an inherently biased and harmful notion that time and time again have been used as a justification to eradicate any semblance of basic human rights and dignity for trans people.

'requiring transition before allowing someone to identify as trans' is not even hinted let alone implied in my reply tweet. only how the phrase/notion 'you don't have to do X to be trans' is routinely employed to deny trans people basic human rights and dignity.

you don't get to police anyone's language, regardless of how politely you ask them to use or not use certain language/words. if you don't like someone's language, don't be around them, folks don't live their lives at the whim of your specific wishes.

and the reply they get is: you don't have to socially transition to be trans. the core purpose of said or similar notion is to deflect, downplay or entirely deny the existence of the injustices/opression imposed on trans people in the first place. /end
comment in response to post
it is a language of erasure because of instead addressing the injustices trans people face, it capitulates to them. another equally valid scenario would be: trans person: i can't socially transition where i live due to fear of violence /1

1. transexual terminology pertaining one's sex is a completely valid term, for instance, transexual male, as transgender terminology pertaining one's gender, e.g. transgender woman. 2. trans folks can reclaim whatever terminology used against them as their own, it's an act of empowerment.

you can brush your curls outside shower, you need to dampen your brush and work from the tip of your hair upward

curly hair naturally tends to dry more quickly (and consequently get frizzy more quickly) than straight hair and frankly any other type of hair so naturally it needs to be conditioned more often for it to remain healthy and to prevent damage.

www.wella.com/professional... this is among the very few product lines that worked for my omega curly hair. i've been using heir shampoo, conditioner and (leave-in) balm, and all 3 products are simply amazing
