“Oh, you’re a Marine Corp Veteran? Thank you for your service. Where did you deploy?”
Vet: “I did a tour in Paramount, California.”

I’m not sure how someone can vote for a twice-impeached, 34x convicted Felon, who is also an adjudicated rapist that attempted a coup, and then have the gall to say “well, we didn’t for for *this*”
The “we didn’t vote for this” talk is an attempt to deflect accountability. They own this.

You’re entitled to your own opinions. You’re not entitled to the expectation that everyone listens to or reads them.
If you have concerns about your engagement here on this site, you might consider not being a tedious asshole.

I’ve repeatedly asked for a specific answer as to what “diversity of thought” is missing on Bluesky.

Is this the “diversity of thought” that Mark Cuban is clamouring for?

I again ask you, what diversity of thought is missing here? Be specific

It’s a stupid poll question.
Of course if you frame the question as “deporting illegal immigrants” you’ll get a net positive.
Trying reframing the question to include denying due process, and illegally renditioning protected status immigrants

Curious what “diversity of thought” you think is missing here?

The law does matter, and its principles are still relevant. It’s fair to say that people’s faith in the law has been severely damaged. They are on their knees at the pew in front of lady Justice looking for a sign their faith isn’t misguided. It’s largely falling on deaf ears.

Regarding your second point to Kinzinger’s second point:
The MAGA propaganda machine will use Kinzinger’s post to achieve the same thing. So, moderating your 1A rights to a former Trump voter’s comfort level is ridiculous.

Unless Obama’s doctor personally examined Biden, Obama’s doctor has no business opining on Biden’s fitness for office.

Isn’t there a Constitutional amendment for this exact scenario? Something about a well regulated militia and it not being infringed?

Same way the National Guard was sent to the South to enforce desegregation… POTUS has the power to “nationalize” the National Guard.
comment in response to

What’s been happening around the Country—and most recently in LA—is precisely the reason why there is a Second Amendment. So, I’ll be expecting the well-regulated militia to be showing up the same time as the National Guard.

It’s ok! This is exactly what the 2A warriors have been screaming about for decades. I expect the well-regulated militia to arrive shortly.

I understand the refs *not* wanting to insert themselves into a game changing penalty call in O/T, but they shit the bed in not calling an obvious Too Many Men call against Florida about 2 minutes before Florida scored.
Can’t have that.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that there will be zero consequences

2 minutes prior, the refs ignored an obvious Too Many Men call against Florida.
This should be the last game this officiating crew sees.

His due process was already violated.
comment in response to

P.S. You can’t *undo* the violation of due process. You either follow the procedures or you don’t. So, everyone talking about how Abrego Garcia is “finally” getting his due process, is mistaken.

Nope!
His due process was already violated! You don’t get a mulligan on it.

Imagine getting renditioned to CECOT for a traffic stop, your due process completely shredded, the DOJ ignoring a SCOTUS ruling while a ginned up indictment is prepped, then being returned “home” to face criminal charges for that traffic stop… complete fucking joke.
