there's historic precedent for this but also in 2020 the national guard guys were generally a lot less aggressive than the cops. and tbh i have trouble seeing soldiers being MORE aggressive or out of control than ICE guys. not saying this wouldn't be a disaster in many ways, just doubt more violent.
