Retired boomer, cancer survivor, proud mother and grandmother-to-be. Still can’t believe what happened in 2016 or in 2024. The education system has clearly failed us.

I’m surprised he didn’t wait to do it until the moment the first major hurricane of the season was making landfall.

Since he doesn’t read, he probably doesn’t see a need for librarians, or libraries, for that matter.

He probably won’t cause more deaths than any administration ever. He’ll just cause more U.S. civilian deaths. He may actually already hold that record, with the number of COVID deaths that occurred during and after his 1st term, because of the negative attitudes he fostered towards prevention.

My ancestors were kidnapped and brought here in chains. That’s not immigration. After literally slaving to build this country for 200 years, their descendants have as much right to be here as anyone. That said, Republicans’ preference for a whites-only, country club immigration system is abominable.

He will never be held accountable. It’s too late. We had our chance, and we blew it. Now he acts with the impunity gifted him by the Supreme Court.

Despite your prediction, Rachel Maddow's show hasn't been cancelled, and I read about "The ReidOut" being cancelled, in the New York Times.

Hold onto your sense of humor. You'll definitely need it, because white women and people of color aren't the only ones who stand to lose. It will just take some of you a bit longer, than others, to realize that you've lost too.

So, whoever you are and whether you are actually young enough to be my grandchild (or not), you will presumably celebrate white women's tears, as you celebrate the changes wrought by Trump, his apartheid-baby-turned-Nazi overlord, and their band of unqualified minions.

I guess you haven't figured out that white women have been the biggest beneficiaries of past DEI efforts and therefore have the most to lose from Trump's efforts to return America to the 1950s.

Vetting isn’t the issue. Why wouldn’t ignorant, racist misogynists vote for an ignorant, racist misogynist? No amount of vetting was going to get them to look beyond that, to see the con.
