The funny thing is that the original writing he cites strongly recommends more class/ethnic/sex diversity in med school admissions, research programs, and health leadership.
His reasoning is still dumb though: studies show disparity, but we still have disparity, thus disparity studies bad.

We technically had a coffee vending machine on our floor, but it was about ¼ mi away from my office.
I never joined a coffee or water club, but I had to keep a secret stash of plastic forks at my desk, apparently not eating with your hands would have been be a waste of taxpayer resources.
