I still cant believe Lariss, Rios, Narissa, etc were all done so dirty.
Rios was the BEST character of the new cast. His holograms were a fantastic idea.
And I'll die on the hill that Lariss and Picard had much more chemistry than Bev and JL will ever have.

Many aspects of society sadly reflect this change in mindset. Hate is what drives interaction on pages like Twitter and YouTube. Hate is what gave birth to the type of political populism we have seen rising across the western world.
And it is easily exploitable by those who shouldn't have power.

The problem is, that these people didn't just decide ahead of time not to like it, they don't want to like anything new. They got so used to hating and complaining, that they cant remember ever feeling different.
They got used to hating and now have to continue this behavior.

I really hope we get more Prodigy as a series... 🥲
Such a damn good show. Prodigy season 2 is the perfect example on how to use legacy characters. They were not just around for fanservice, they had their own arcs and development.

I always love when people put thought into naming their ships.
I named my Gagarin the USS Tereshkova, after the first woman in space.
I'm glad the Gagarin is one of the few ships that got a lore video via the STO/Spacedock collab

That's why I usually stay on DS9.
ESD zone chat is... special.

Oh. Whoops.
Yeah, that first message, arguing in favor of DSC? That's me.
I dont know why my zone chat was even active, it's usually disabled. But with people saying DSC isnt canon and then citing people like Doomcock as a source... yeah.
That "discussion" was something.

It was a real gut punch (imho) to see the Titan legacy basically being erased in favor of another more-or-less-TMP Enterprise :/
Then again, I really would have liked to either see more of the Enterprise F or the Enterprise E.

It's a very similar feeling here in Europe, watching one of our biggest allies starting to sabotage our relations and descend into fascism. Especially while countries like Russia and China expand their imperialistic tendencies.
And I worry about queer people in the US. A lot.

If you ever need to leave the US, need a place to stay, and aren't opposed to living in Germany, there will be a very comfy couch here waiting for you.
My partner and I would help you with the language and all the forms and stuff.

I have evidence openAI used thousands of peoples works of art, probably millions, to train its software. I give zero fucks about what OpenAI thinks.

Sadly, there seems to be some targeted harassment and death threats towards the crew and cast of the movie. TrekCulture had to heavily moderate their latest comment section because of that.
