That really hit home for me when I thought about how active my lol has been her entire life and now she can walk for maybe 20 minutes tops before she needs to sit and rest. She uses a wheelchair most of the time now. Disability comes for all of us.

Yeah, they didn’t see anything luckily. These usually go away after 3 days, but I haven’t had a migraine this painful in a long time. I’m on a migraine preventative (Emgality) and it clearly didn’t prevent this hell I’m going through.

I was told that Nurtec is basically like magic for migraines and I’m not convinced of that, but it definitely helps me more than Imitrex (which did basically nothing)
I was afraid I was having a stroke or had something else bad wrong with my brain because the pain was so intense. Lucky us!

I got a cocktail of drugs and it dulled it. I just got my Nurtec and hopefully that will knock out the rest of the pain.
I know I can’t prevent all migraines from happening, but it’s bullshit that I’m on a preventative and I still end up at the hospital 😮💨

That was exactly how one of my aunts reacted and she was on medication for high cholesterol! What annoys me is that now she says she gets the vegan or vegetarian option when she goes out to eat because it’s healthier. Imagine if we reacted to them for eating meat the way they react to us being veg!

I’ve been vegan/vegetarian for like 15 years now and everyone has been an expert on protein since the first day I quit eating meat. People will always ask about my iron and B12 levels and it never gets less annoying!

I saw some antipsychotic with some other drug in it being advertised. The second drug in it is designed to help you not gain weight from the antipsychotic. Where was that years ago??? 😭

Thank you!!! It’s bullshit that I was told I’d only gain 5-10lbs at most. Seroquel has worked great for my mental health, but it made me fat and gave me tardive dyskinesia. My psychiatrist wants to put me on maybe Vraylar or something next 😅
