The world will unify against Trump and that will weaken the USA. Thanks all non-Kamala voters…

Your other option is the Cult of Trump.

There is no 3rd party in the USA the could realistically win. To consider that is to be delusional. Not voting throws away your ability to contribute to a decision. Either the Democrat or Republican will win the presidency. It’s your choice between those two.

You have two options: one where 15k die, another when 100k die. I choose the lesser option. Tell the 75k that outcomes don’t matter.

If you helped Trump win, the reverse question applies to you “So you are okay with 15,000 children being exterminated and Trump telling them to “finish the job” of eradicating Gaza?”

Agreed that the clear lesson is that there must be a robust and fair primary process.

Trump on Gaza: www.ap.org/news-highlig...
Also, to me the decision has to be bigger than Gaza. Global stability, economy, US civil rights, Ukraine, technological advancement, a fair justice system, freedom of speech, healthcare, all better options under Democrats than Trump.

Right. We had two options. Kamala tried to consider both sides. Trump wants to flatten Gaza and sell it off to the wealthy. I don’t know how more clear it can be that Kamala is better than Trump, but now we, and the Palestinians, are living with the Trump choice. We’ll see that outcome.

I want to believe that would work, but this was a second Trump victory. I hope that people can learn when their decisions do enough direct harm to themselves. It’s tariffs and small businesses. It’s Latinos for Trump that are now targeted by ICE for how they look.

Right! We don’t need moral posturing, we need to make bad situations better. Even if that is small improvements. Outcomes matter more than ego.

I worry about us making the same mistake again. I guarantee that the next Democratic nominee in 2028 won’t be perfect. They will have areas of valid criticism. I excuse that to pale in comparison to the fascism the Trump’s cult offers. How can we avoid making the same mistake if voters don’t learn?

We can’t solve our problems if we ignore basic logic like “you have two options, choose the better of the two”. People are free to do what they want, but there are consequences. We can’t pamper Trump voters or non-voters so they feel absolve from the consequences of their actions. Choose better.

Ok, well let’s see how the “Both sides are just as bad” attitude actually works out.

We had two options. People chose Trump (through affirmative voting, or not voting for Kamala) and now we are living with those bad consequences in Palestine, in Ukraine, in the USA. Kamala would have been better in all regards and that has always been obvious.

Yes, voters (specifically in swing states) are the one to blame. They saw the two options, and they chose this mess over Kamala. How bad and obvious does Trump need to be? What incredibly high standard did Kamala have to meet? Yes, media bias to sane wash Trump was a factor, but voters have agency.

1. The critical lesson is that the DNC needs to hold robust primaries. 2. Trump is clearly not better for Palestinians.
