Graduated high school in 97. Early 90s alternative was basically everything that wasn’t hair metal. By the time I graduated nümetal was on rise and sucked! The only advantage I had was living in Toledo, I could just get the Detroit stations that were countering mainstream programming. Good times…

There is one caveat - the screw on a propane tank is intentionally reversed. So don’t get mad if turning it the normal way causes the hose to continually fall off, it’s the thread being backwards.

Yep! They were basically coach-built so field repairs were difficult because the parts didn’t fit. The suspensions were elaborate but frequently undersized for the weight they were carrying. And if wasn’t the suspension, it was the engine. And the guns weren’t stabilized so no shooting on the go.

Oh yeah, which disease do I need to have a chat with for trying to drag under the Internet’s favorite Talmudic interpreter? Bastard bacterium or vicious virus? Glad you’re feeling better (and will be available for artistic and legal consultation on (unlikely) inkings.)

Sometimes you bring us wonderfully weird tales; other times, it’s just lawyering from ancient days. My ADHD was checking out from the lawyering. How about if I ever think of anything worth memorializing in skin, I’ll just call you and you can send me a bill? Or do you prefer to work on retainer?

Fascinating - thank you. 🙏 Is this a fandom theory or did some story patch over the apparent flaw in retconning?

If only the fuckers in Lima weren’t such fucks, you can speed run that from I-275 to I-475. I did an up-and-back Cincy to Toledo in 5:45. Glorious day

As a born-Catholic Cincinnatian - fuck the convert-choad. That he slimed pass the intellectual death grip the Church has on Cincinnati minds only to show-up acting like a fucking fool… shame. (Archdiocese of Cincinnati: 51st in population-size; 5th-largest Catholic school system in the US.)

I would happily go back to 5 months ago when the biggest concern was Canada was at risk of a fascist PM rather than America having an actual open outright fascist dictator for a president. Ahh, nostalgia for better days…

It’s literally how narcissists lure you in. Their ability to hyperfixate on you makes you feel so special. At some point, they flip the script and demand that you fixate on them. And if you don’t, they go ballistic.

There’s the whole group that think all popes after John XXIII & the Second Vatican Council are illegitimate. They hate the Church for no longer doing all masses in Latin. Opus Dei & that Pious X Society in Kansas that was preyed upon by a pedophile priest. There are a LOT of reactionary Catholics

So do you think there’s enough for a purely feminist haggadah or would you still need to have a bunch of blathering old men being sagacious in order to fulfill the Passover tale? (And if you could write a ladies’ version, could you include a choose-your-own-Seder-duration indicators?)

It would look more medieval Europe. Maps showing states belie modern America. I live in the Semiautonomous Region of Cincitucky. The massive urban core would act more as a feudal free city. Especially east of the Mississippi, you’d fight out from the cities instead by states given the red/blue split

Europeans would’ve built full-size pickups for the US market, but we slapped the chicken tax on them. And until ~20 years ago, the Germans (primarily) weren’t interested in building cars in the US. It’s why Toyota and Nissan build full-size pickups in and for the US market almost exclusively.

The Palestinians are nuisances that need to be cleared off the land to make room for the Jews so that Jesus will come and fulfill the Book of Revelation and bring about the end of days.

No, you need to pay attention to the Evangelicals - they are the money propping up the worst parts of Israeli society. They have this idea that in order for Jesus to come again, all the Jews need to be in Israel. Once that happens, then Jesus will come, kill the Jews, and bring about Armageddon…

You know how Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself? I think there are a lot of self-loathing MFers out there who don’t like themselves and have a twisted malevolent glee at hating their neighbors. My sister, a customs broker, is losing her mind. This shit happens so that even Customs can’t provide adequate guidance so “use your best judgement.” 🤷‍♂️🤯 Plus the tariff stacking - there’s a lot of small business bankruptcies acoming. 10% customs jumping to 70% or more. Insanity!

If you fled communism, anything that’s remotely leftist is a risk of going back to bad times and places. Also see the old Cubans in Florida. (I don’t fully understand the thinking because it never fully aligns with the Western political spectrum, but the brasher the capitalism, the better!)

Maybe there’s a few companies still cutting actual paychecks these days but most want an EFT paycheck deposit. Usually the company’s bank will provide free checking accounts to the employees as part of a corporate banking agreement. So young men have to go out of their way to not have a bank account
