I can tell I'm going to need to make a timeline section but I'm not sure I'll ever be motivated enough to make sections for red/green/hallways.

I use a Google doc so it's searchable. I made lines for rooms 1-46 before I started the game and I add info as I go. I take screenshots and attach them to the doc as needed.
I also put in a headline for each character name I find and try to fill in details about them along the way.
