After some thought I've chosen to interpret the girl's expression as older widower with 8 children is interrupting my peace and my jam.

The group has thinned out, but still a few hundred people chanting.
This mime (quietly) led a chant of “Fuck ICE” which has morphed to “Fuck CPD.”

I had the impression that I was looking at an auction lot of work being sold off in the cheapest way possible by an art dealer, but not a gallery. The space was a common space with kitchen. The rest of the building had micro offices.

They had on hand a lot of very small pieces. Most were square. The largest, a soot painting, might have been 10" x 16" plus frame. They were displaying the work on 2' x 6' folding tables with table easels. It was a disappointing experience.

Chicago Gallery News had listed the event in such a way that it looked like the art was on display all day with a reception in the evening. That was not the case.

That's a nice place to spend eternity under a nice big rock on an island guarded by a duck. Sweet.

I'm glad you are doing books. I am collecting more books because information is getting muddled.

I am old fashioned. I enjoy reading and watching people on line. There is definitely a parasocial element to it that is less damaging than developing a parasocial attachment to an AI designed content creator. I like to watch people goof off on TikTok. So far, we can tell.

It's an old map showing what is now the Prairie Path and it's annexes. It doesn't even go through Addison, IL as suggested. There is a Metra line that runs through a lot of these towns now, though.

Try listening to Camper van Beethoven's "All Her Favorite Fruit" for a palate cleanser.
