This one surprised me, for sure. I was expecting a low score and "I'll finish it, but..."

So let's just get white women to stop voting. Makes sense

If no white women voted, Harris would have won

If any group had voted differently the outcome would have been different. If white women had voted differently, even by only a small percentage, the outcome would be different. Gen X is too small to have decided it on our own

Yes, you can tell somebody to go to hell, and they could be delighted or offended. Context she tone are everything

Any word or phrase used in a way to belittle, demean, or dehumanize another person is in bad taste

It turns out that being ignored and dismissed can make people feel antisocial, so it's not a stretch to see why so many of our cohorts voted for chaos. The people I know who voted for Trump definitely voted that way to spread the misery around

One thing that really pisses me off is how many businesses are now willing to take lower profits in order for the real cost of the tariffs not to be felt by consumers That just tells us that they could have been doing this to lessen the effects of inflation, as well, but chose not to

I'm a great cook, but I actually started using them sometimes. It's okay to not have every herb and spice available on Earth in my pantry

Republicans; "make America great again!" Democrats; "I'd like to introduce an 89 year old with an 11 point presentation on how we would make the post office slightly better, but only if enough Republicans support the legislation." STOP ASKING US TO VOTE AGAINST THE OPPOSITION

You have to have self awareness to be humiliated

The way they actually dug up BLM plaza is a great allegory for how ignorant this administration is. How much did that cost, when they literally could have just sand blasted it? Putting on a show was important for them, though

They're really just turning stuff off and on to see how they work. They never even thought about doing research

I remember having to read novels with a dictionary nearby, as a kid, to learn the meanings of new words. If only I had learned the pronunciation as well!

I live in Bend, Oregon, an outdoor mecca. 3/4 of the tourists are talking at the top of their lungs, it blasting music on a Bluetooth speaker while they "enjoy nature"

That's true of everybody. I see so many posts, on here, talking about the lives of the most privileged as if their lives were the norm. Examples include "women weren't allowed to work until WWII," etc. Working class women have always worked, since work outside the home was invented, in the 1300s.

It's hard to get that message out when mainstream media thrives on the views of the right

You know what wins campaigns? Having a platform that promises to raise all boats, then actually doing it. This whole "but we were one vote short" bullshit is tiring

I got lucky and saw him twice in small venues, for under $20, twice! I saw him open for Willie on NYE at Austin City limits, too, but those tickets weren't under $20 🤣
