You're the one saying Scotland's lens on the world, is via England.

They're only our biggest customer because they have money, and the only reason they have any money, is because Scotland provides them with it. It's like M&S saying "Don't stop those shoplifters in our clothes dept, because they go flog that gear, but come back to our cafe to buy an egg roll & tea."

I think the minute we start seeing civilians being shot by their own soldiers, he's in a world of shit.

There is no way that country will allow him to get that far. And internationally, PMs and countries will soon threaten to pull out of the Olympics and World Cup next year.

I just don't see the American public putting up with it for any length of time, and state governors certainly won't. Besides Trump doesn't have a killer streak in him, he's not like Putin.

But the thing is, how long do the troops stay for? Do we start to see lockdowns and curfews? How does this all play out in the media and internationally? What's the reaction in the senate and the house? It will tank the Republicans in the midterms. He can't row back from here, only double down.

Yeah, it would catch on with many English folk, but figures like Farage know the iconic power of the Union flag, there's no way they would want to lose that. The best scenario for them is to continue the myth that Scotland is poor and is spoilt with the Barnett Formula, so that has to go.

The movement in England will be to put the Jocks back in their place. Farage has already said he'd scrap the Barnett formula, they will also discredit Holyrood, and either scrap it or very publicly overrule every act passed there. They will never support Indy as that is like surrendering in a war.

"Right you've had enough of my time, you biased BBC, who never have me or Richard on ever, & are simply interested in woke Dr Who. Defund the BBC! Pass me my GB News microphone... 3-2-1.."

It'll be BBC covering it like they do the fawning Royal Parades we're subjected to.
"I happen to have Nigel Farage with me here.. Nigel just sum up for us what it means to be here on this historic event."
"Well I mean, it's monumental isn't it? This is the kind of thing we need for our next PM."
