My thinking is more along the lines of countering any prejudicial influence from their home life that would ordinarily lead to them becoming unkind, uncaring or generally selfish adults.
At least trying to teach the kids there's a different way to be so they can choose their own path, yknow?

My heart bleeds for that kid and all others with abusive or neglectful parents. 😔 Schools should of course have safeguarding procedures in place, and have been getting a lot better in that regard - over here at least..
An awful situation like that needs kindness from the school, and often therapy.

Surely it's worth trying though? Kids aren't born assholes, racists or bigots; that's pure nurture and often in my experience comes from a troubled home life.
I've seen teachers showing kindness to kids struggling at home making a difference, and often wondered what that could look like at scale.

Our brains simply aren't evolved to handle horror and empathy on such a large scale like this. 😔
It's okay to find it overwhelming and adjust your exposure to it to retain a semblance of mindfulness imo, that's just self care! 😊🫂

The variable refresh rate as low as 1hz - I think maybe exclusive to the Pixel phones(?) - is such a boon for longevity and battery life too!
Having an ambient display updating once a second just makes so much more sense when nothing's happening!

I wonder if they might need better terms than "spatial computing" and "spatial rendering", they've never really felt consumer-friendly to me?
We already have established terminology for it, so maybe that's why? Heck, even calling it something dumb like 'Magic Reality' would be better haha 🤷♂️

I was really worried about doing the same for the longest time! I have this cool lil' gnome pic that our concept artist made of me and while I love it, but I often wondered if it felt a little impersonal to others!

It might help to set up some muted words! I had to do it and it helped my feed become a bit less doom and gloom! 😊🫂
