It is weird to me that food courts figured out "we should do this but with better food" but malls haven't followed suit with "we should do this just with better stores."

I know it's been pointed out, but this is also why the same media types went crazy for Hillbilly Elegy. Finally, something to explain THOSE kinds of people.

Baked beans were always with hot dogs in my house. And brown bread from a can.

"I FACT, I don't just BAKE the bread, I KNEAD the bread. For real. I really really need the bread. I am so dead inside that people clicking the lightbulb on my linkedin post is my only happiness. I cannot find a therspist who will take my state insurance. Please clap."

It is all the most insipid horseshit imaginable. Feed is full of stuff like "I started TalentJizz nine weeks ago, and I've learned so much. I am going to pass along that knowledge. First of all, nobody ever tells you this: the key to success? HARD WORK. Here are 45 paragraphs of similar inanity."

Competent cashiers and the existence of ceiling tiles were the two essential elements of "Walmart but nicer" and they went ahead and got rid of one of them.

Personally excited to consume economic doomerism on social media in 2045 the way our parents' generation watches "here are crimes that happened today" on the local TV news.

Gotta be honest, I hadn't caught myself rooting this hard for someone in a long time. Bryson in the '04 Yankees role helps.

The Sox get a conditional option of $15M for 2032 if Crochet misses 120 consecutive days due to a significant arm injury. In the case of such an event, assuming it happened between 2026-30, his opt-out after 2030 would be voided. If he avoids such an injury, then he gets the opt-out following 2030.

Wait, wait. So Papa Gino's will always have a place in my heart, I can let that slide. But Dominos?? Over all of those actual good pizza places?

Like even if you're not a Marty Walsh guy, he'd be New York's best mayor since Fiorella LaGuardia.

Nothing feeds the Boston Superiority Complex more than the 30-year run of mayors who are overall pretty good.

The #SP60 kicks off with Austin Ehrlicher. Due to injuries, the 22-year-old RHP has only pitched six innings since the Red Sox drafted him in the 18th round of the 2022 draft. He has a very intriguing fastball-slider combination, which could help propel him quickly through the system.

Crazy, I saw her at a show like 8 years ago, she was on a lineup with The Sheila Divine. Had never heard of her and it wasn't really my speed (she was doing this electro-rock-pop thing) but she was good.
