This comes from a popular transfer this week, Larsen to Pedro! Resulting in a -9 in the short term, hopefully this move pays off over a longer sample size🤞

To add on this, Saka+Palmer+Salah doesn’t give you squad balance either. At the moment they are the ones returning.
Look at mid priced forwards, you have options. I don’t think it’s about the template but it’s about the quality of players that in midfield, for the moment, we don’t have

I’ve never owned Haaland this season, so I must be biased. The squad balance that you have without him is very good. The reason we all own Palmer/Saka/Salah/Rogers/Mbuemo is because there is no mid price midfielder of any quality. If those guys turn up, then we’ll have a variety of options

I’m going with a 3-4-3/3-5-2 hybrid with Rogers and Larsen rotating. If I do bring in J. Pedro then I’d find it difficult to bench him and I’d like to play Rogers GW14-15!
With Pedro being out because of injury we don’t really know how secure his minutes are 😡

Saka as he’s more consistent. Palmer is more explosive but if you’re looking at Salah (c) every week, you’d want your second best player to deliver regularly.

Your premise that those transfers are “good moves” is subjective, really. FPL can’t be all about skill as you have no control over the players (the real life ones 😂) but it also can not be all about luck because if you picked an FPL XI of promoted teams+Everton, well you’re not going very far 🤷🏻♂️

I’m definitely bringing Joao Pedro in, I’m just doing it for Larsen instead of Havertz. Maybe Pedro in for your 3rd striker?
If you move Lewis out, maybe for Zabarnyi? If his your 4th defender why not save a 0.4? Might come in handy 🤷🏻♂️

Very frustrating, yes. I’m not sure he’ll be benched in any other game until GW20 (a part from the EFL game v Palace). The lack of attacking returns is more frustrating but I do think that he’ll score in this amazing run we have.
I have him and a transfer out seems a bit of a luxury move.

I like it! At large part of the season the squad depth does seem a bit useless. I.e. The fact that the majority of us have only one playing keeper is a sign of that as you want to maximise the starting XI.

The penalty factor gives you an extra route to points, so it is a factor if you’re considering two good players.
I.e. assuming Jorginho is a regular starter and on pens for Arsenal, would you choose him over Rogers, ESR or Semenyo? I don’t think so.
