The characters it helped, it helped a lot. But the Magneto-Xavier in cahoots for years, working with Mr Sinister and the whole Arakko / ancient mutant business was just not for me. But everyone has an “X-Men”. For me it was blue/gold. For others it’s always the 80s. For some now it’s Krakoa.

It’s already #4 but TBD if it’s final rank of severity stays at 4th worst or 2nd or 1st absolute worst. I’m dreading reading the rationalizations he’ll be cooking up as essays Foreign Affairs and the Washington Post in 6 months. We can do without him lying to our faces.

By far. It was terrible. Though the narrative jumped the shark in MW2z

I’ve been training since I was 18 to fight Spetsnaz in Lower Manhattan. Bring it on.

With the wrinkle that the Dem messaging to Latinos, structured by consultancies, has been fucking awful for years and Harris ran out of time to fix it (she was making the right moves though). Seriously just exile the Latino constants. They just make shit up.

Merrick Garland forced Jack Smith to do two 3-4 year cases in about <2. It as doomed as soon as the clock changed from 2021 to 2022, before Smith took the job.

The failure wasn’t in the Special Counsel. It was that Garland and the investigation leadership preceding Jack Smith’s procrastinated for 2 years hoping Trump would go away, until the J6 committee cornered them and made declining to indict an impossibility. Smith didn’t have enough time.

Does every New Zealander know how to do this, at any given time?

Me neither. I was just putting it out there because Trump may not care about any of that to get his big peacemaker (sellout) moment and it'll pull GOP members between loyalty to Trump and their China policy.

That'd see Europe nuclearize fast to defend itself, but it may limit US nuclear expansion. Conversely, Trump could just want more warheads because he's a simpleton who defines power crudely, and none of that could happen.

I could see Trump, being Russia friendly, envision extending a Ukrainian peace deal into a larger final settlement with Russia which sees the US withdraw from Europe/NATO, INF 2.0, NewSTART extension... peace as a cover to give Europe to Putin.

X-Factor here is NewSTART. Under most scenarios its dead. And a NewerSTART won't ever get 67 votes. GOP doesn't want an extension of it without China (which won't). If Trump extends NewSTART as a favor to Putin, does GOP go along? Or do we leave and we grow back to 2500+ warheads fast?

I think the second will be Iran. With Hezbollah a skeleton and their missile deterrent being somewhat underwhelming in potency, and now with Marco rubio, they have every reason to put to the t est if they can nuclarize as fast as some claim.

I think the first domino to fall will be France and maybe the UK announcing their umbrella covers European allies, probably in a response to Trump doing something provocative with NATO.

This is fucking brilliant. Actual LOL.

With spock and Uhura, absolutely. Karl Urban was perfect as McCoy. Never really liked Chris Pine as Kirk (I know he was intentionally avoiding doing a Shatner-as-Kirk impression, but that *is* Kirk). Generally I think DSC/SNW's recasts have been better than the Kelvinverse.

I've been saying that Twitter is really just a text-based MMORPG, so yeah, we all should all roll new classes now that we swapped to Wildsta....errrr I mean Bsky.
