In 2008 the security staff employed by Pride tried to gender police the toilets at Trafalgar Square. I warned them that if they did not desist, I would organise a mass sit in within ten minutes. They made the mistake of calling my bluff. Pride eventually apologised to trans people. #Toiletgate2008
