So funny how the entire experience of POC, Gay and Trans people are just totally glazed over here. Oh, original people in N America, Japanese in war camps, Middle Easterners after 911.

And they actually wonder why they are floundering. JFC! An opposition party so weak they can’t even oppose the evilest regime this country has seen - and that’s saying a lot because there has been a shitload of evil produced in this country.

Yep, growing up gay in 1980’s - I can assure you this is the US. I lost 18 friends in one year and hardly anyone in this country was lifting a finger. Oh, that’s right - it was only happening to those gays - Many people in this country actually thought it was a great way to disappear us.

the House of Representatives has initiated impeachment proceedings against two cabinet members: William W. Belknap in 1876 and Alejandro Mayorkas in 2024. However, neither were convicted in their impeachment trials. The Mayorkas case was the first since the Belknap case in 1876.

Yeah - they are ineffectual when they have both chambers and the presidency. They don’t know how to use power when it’s handed to them.
If only they had 1/2 the tenacity of the GOP - we’ll, a 1/4

I didn’t think I could loose more respect for Paul. I’m not sure where I even dug to find respect to loose - but it was there.

Letters?? Only 1,000?!? WTF? Like she even cares.
Wow - now this is what I call truly a mark in the sand she dare not cross.
And you are a senator turned postal worker in the days where letters aren’t even a thing.
This is why we need new blood of this century.

You weren’t raised on a tobacco farm were you? Lol?! That would be too weird.
We’re definitely nomadic - spent time in all 50 and all territories. I do love KY- it is a beautiful state and central KY is one of the most beautiful areas I’ve seen - but I’m partial 😊

Our ranch was in Tanque verde. We lived with over 300 huge saguaro. It was very special. We hardly went into Tucson. Much more hinterland people too. We bought an airstream and boondocked all over the west. It was a great chapter.
We live on the beach now & I miss my desert!

Have you made it there for superbloom? It was the single thing I wanted to do but didn’t before we moved back to the EastCoast. I’ll be flying out for the next one!!!

Live in the gorge as part of a research assistantship I had in grad school. Me, a small tent, a sleeping bag and a note pad for 3 months of pure transcendental bliss!
I hope to return someday -

Crazy. You pics popped up and I started looking at them because we lived in Tucson and romped the West for 20 years. I think we’ve been everywhere you’ve shot lol. I then saw the shaker mushroom pic and was like that’s weird KY thrown into the mix - then saw this.

And they also pulled guys underwear up into wedgies all the time and locker rooms - dang the assault 😩
I never let a few bad people define my worldview. (let’s talk about how horrendous girls could be -assault that is just overlooked) not all women were mean girls but a lot were - and are still.

What does Brock turner have to do with it? Who blamed? Geee yeah there are predators but this is hardly about them or that. Don’t twist his words or put words that don’t belong.
Sully good people in the name of predators - no better than the far right and victim shaming. Both ways.

Go to a queer bar at 18 - I get it better than most men. I’ve had my crotch & ass grabbed more times than I can remember and was forcefully raped more than once. I see absolutely no correlation to what Hogg said. None. I also don’t hold it against the general male population because of a few bad

It wasn’t all that peachy for most of us growing up.
Sounds like you were hanging with a much different crowd than I’ve ever known in my 60 years. I know they exist - just in such a small minority.
no use giving them more power than they have by amplifying their numbers and negating the good ones

I’ve watched good people get slaughtered for expressing anything even slightly against what both ends of the spectrum have to say.
I didn’t see anything in that which indicated your interpretation. I fully understand his words and intent. To actually think that was his intent pffff
