Baroness Casey stated on Newsnight only a small number involved in grooming gangs were non nationals and asylum seekers and she does not know where these allegations are coming from.

Heading over that way for a week shortly. One of our favourite areas along with the Yorkshire and Northumberland coasts.

He just likes throwing numbers around. Random sums of money that never add up.

Mark Carney demonstrated early in the proceedings who was in charge and it wasn’t Trump. So not being able to behave like he does in the WH he left. Trump can’t function in a process like the G7. He’s unable to listen to others, has his own agenda and has to be centre of attention.

Tolerated a few minutes and I’ve seen some clips on here.

Don’t know what he was expecting but it was an absolute shit show.

It was awful. The troops looked like they really didn’t want to be there. No sense of military professionalism or pride. Rock music in the background. It was a shambles.

I’ve just endured his FB post 🤮 I suggested he should have read the Councillor Compact before standing for election. And he has to abide by all current UK law including the 2010 Equality Act in every aspect of council work. Shock horror. Says everything about him and Reform.

We’re becoming more like Trump’s America by the day. We can’t let this happen.

And ‘what are your priorities?’ County Council priorities appear to be flags. Crucial meetings apparently cancelled but not this one. Council leader Harrison described the eight-minute cabinet meeting, which had only the flag-flying policy on the agenda, as "historic" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Cumberland charge £39 with a 5 week wait and you’re charged £40pa for a second garden waste bin to be emptied. Also have to keep upholstery dry. Hubbie dismantled conservatory furniture and took it to the tip but not everyone can do that.

💯 blatant bias yet again

Shockingly over-populated audience of Reform members this evening. Even more shocking when Fiona Bruce asked for them to raise their hands so she could target them for more comments! Consequently, the tv audience were met with a barage of right-wing, racist remarks. The BBC are so biased!

Previously known as British Broadcasting for the Conservatives.

Only caught part of it but Bruce responded, more than once, to the anti Reform audience to seek out comments from Reform supporters. She used to do the same with the tories when they were getting a hard time. Nothing changes. Proves I’m not missing much.

He’s now the Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services for Leicestershire County Council! Massive budget and responsibilities. He’s going to be busy fitting this around his ongoing degree course in computer Science.

This is Leicester County Council. Along with the Party’s Doge plans what could possibly go wrong…..

Exactly this 💯 But others would have you believe nothing works because of the boats

I’m enjoying Dept Q and I also enjoyed Fake on ITV X although it was a bit predictable.

Yes that David Mencer. Explains Labour’s resistance to calling out the genocide. That and the funding both Tory and Labour MPs have taken. Politics always has and always will be a dirty business. Still needs to be called out for what it is wherever you sit in the political divide.

Trump’s downfall will come but not until he starts to hurt the wealthy. The rest will continue to suffer but many still can’t see him for what he is. A deluded, narcissistic failure who will destroy the USA.

I respect Jeremy Bowen as a journalist but I gave up on BBC news a long time ago. @krishgm.bsky.social challenged Israeli government minister David Mencer again and again. We need more of this. www.channel4.com/news/israel-...

This is true of ‘journalism’ across the board these days. The clicbait headline comes first then the speculative or false ‘story’ to back it up.

This public, predictable and entertaining break up serves to amplify the corruption that put Trump back in the White House. Musk sold himself down the river. His name added to the long list of people Trump has ‘done over’. In the meantime America burns and the MAGA show goes on.

We need to keep calling out the lies and false claims from Reform. It certainly silences the racist, misinformed Reformers on Facebook. Keep up the good work supplying the ammunition that will hopefully will hasten the downfall of Reform.

Let’s come up with a headline and find a ‘story’ to sell it. Typical shit journalism you see everywhere these days.

Lived in her constituency my whole life. I can categorically state I have never seen anyone here wearing a burqa. Just a side note, since she was elected she’s not held a single surgery and as yet, has not even set up an office. As useless and idle as her leader.
