She had “a filler related issue”. You see, she saw someone in pain and suffering, started laughing and her face fell into her lungs. Just one of those things.

I find this perplexing. The cars aren’t selling, the brand is going up in flames. Still the valuation is sky high based on nonsense about very limited products like robotaxi. Why are people pretending like this is new or revolutionary? These vehicles are already in use in China, even Waymo.

That’s laughably weak material. Say what you will but Trump used to find the right words for his base when belittling his targets. Now he’s sundowning even at this. Sad!

Hyvä pointti. Ymmärtääkseni olette kuitenkin saaneet kaikki Ruotsin kotikoulutusfanaatikot. Näitähän löytyy ja paljastetaan jatkuvasti kun ne jotenkin aina päätyvät Ahvenanmaalle.

Dying? I’m enjoying my Bluesky. Interesting that the narrative is always something not working when not in the hands of oligarchs. People still pretend that “Truth” is something else than an elderly man’s blog and that Ex-Twitter isn’t just bots, weirdos and LinkedIn types posting each other.

This is awful. Truly horrible. Human beings being used like so much garbage for nothing more than Putins “glory”. May the Russians quickly lose so as to save even these kinds of poor bastards.

It’s actually not a question of choosing between Tesla or China in Sweden. The most popular EV:s are European. Kia and Hyundai are also popular.

It’s fantastically absurd to observe this End of Empire shit as an outsider. The absolute nonsense and idiocy of it. I know many of you are opposed to the cirkus but so were most people in Rome, Revolutionary France, today’s Russia. They still let it happen. Oh well, time to learn Mandarin I guess.

I’d recommend looking at Audi and Hyundai. Very good alternatives.

It’s fascinating how the very worst of humanity always find each other, launch destruction, inevitably end up attacking each other. It’s almost like there’s no honour among thieves.

Jebus! Haven’t we all been warned many a time about the dangers of autonomous hands? They strangle you, chainsaw you, drown you and even electrocute you. I’ve read this in many fact based narratives and also in several films that are based on this very fact.

I for one have my travel kit ready at all times: leeches, various garden herbs for the plague and/or leprosy. Not to mention coarse salt to rub into open wounds. You know, common sense stuff. Nobody had autism or was trans when I was young back in the good old 1370’s!

This makes it sound as if the EU actually takes him seriously. He’s an unpredictably predictable failure who always backs away from a fight. He’s a wimp without any stamina.

That’s the real reason we don’t drive those enormous trucks in Europe. Sure, tighter roads, walkable cities etc but the trailers solve it. I’ve always had either my own trailer or rented one when needed. There are very few people who handle heavy goods daily in the modern world.
So no trucks in EU.

Oh my people, you guys have been bought for pennies and will have to pay for it in Euros and Yens.
Elon is only beholden to the true money behind his fake stock market empire. The last time to defeat them was probably 2019. After that they won all the world’s riches and idiots gave them the power.

AI is such a fucking plague. My students, who all use it to cheat, ask why they shouldn’t use it since it exists. I ask them if AI is better than their own work why anyone should bother hiring them after they graduate. That shuts them up real fast

It’s very much about time. Orban is ruining his own country, all indicators pointing down. Why bail him out and let him ruin it for the rest of us that pay his bills?

Amazing! So happy for them and their loved ones.
You can really see the rough treatment they’ve endured these last couple of years. Solid heroes every single one of them!

Never heard of it but I’m Swedish and American football is also a pretty niche sport over here. Sounds fun though, I’d be interested to try it.

I agree with your post! Down with Norway! Norway is and always will be a frigid place, full of dried codfish and nothing else! The fjords are only there to provide easy options to leave or pine for a better life elsewhere. Humourless and dour people.

”compared to the tariffs” is doing some major work here. The tariffs are still hugely increased. A ten percent increase implemented immediately in import/export costs is still bankrupting levels for many smaller companies. At least we in the EU will be able to strike back.

The difference is that there are more capable and powerful state actors that don’t wait around anymore. It’s more unpredictable in a way, almost impossible for the US to control. All those functioning Cold War era mechanisms of control, IMF, UN and so on are being handed over to others by Trump.

Here in Sweden there is an ongoing effort to lure young/ish researchers. The thing is that science takes time and you can’t just recruit people without projects. You’ll see this accelerating the coming years. Once you get people established over here, having kids in school they’ll never leave.

Imagine her shock coming to Sweden and seeing McDonalds, snickers, Levi’s jeans etc. It’s like the US hasn’t dominated Western culture and exported eating poisonous junk food for decades and decades.

True but, being European, I see two things. 1. I think that backyard with the pool and patio looks nice. 2. I don’t know if it’s the picture but that looks like a fake house made out of some kind of cardboard and plaster. It would melt away in Northern Europe.

Too many people are invested in this, the made up arguments about Tesla’s supposed magical future techs etc is nonsense that would not be afforded to any other company. If VW would lose 71 % of its revenue and had no actual, tangible products coming out, wouldn’t they be declared dead and buried?

And with DJT you have the factor of ideology, i.e. small time investors holding on for political reasons. I also suspect they managed to lure a lot of low income individuals to invest and they simply can’t afford to exit at this or lower levels. The grift is insane.
comment in response to

It’s the classic tale of make believe. People invested in Tesla are talking all kinds of nonsense about robots/affordable cars etc to pump up the stock. In truth Elon has murdered his own company and image. It’s the same with DJT stocks. They should be utterly worthless but there’s too much buy in.

This is fundamentally a wrong question to ask. These people are uninformed. The answers all have the tone of getting a little bit less cash in their pocket. They are facing generational convulsions. The Depression was saved by WWII and the rebuilding of the world. The US rode that. It’s not so now.

We’re soon to see some nice data. The quarterly earnings report is due this coming week. Be ready to see some fantastic lying and gaslighting about Tesla.
It baffles me who still buys his products.

While we’re making up stuff from the 1900’s: Russia could finally give its citizens functional indoor plumbing! Russia could finally surpass the male life expectancy for men in Europe in 1970! Soon to be 68 years! Russia might finally develop any kind of domestic consumer electronics! Futurism!
