It may vary by state but I actually did research using the California guide to residential tenants' and landlords' rights and responsibilities. www4.courts.ca.gov/documents/Ca... Page 62 has the relevant legal information but I do not know the case elsewhere.

The Warioland games don't get enough love and deserve a proper successor. There's something so button pushing that comes from being manhandled into a comical 'bad end' scenario and that being necessary to complete the game. Pampifying it actually seems easy easier to do than any other game tbh

I'm so sorry because I know this kind of thing is devastating but a lot of the comments in here suggesting that you move and withhold payment could get you in a lot of legal hot water. I'm so sorry I've been frantic in reading because situations this like tear me up inside :c

I have tried to look around different state laws to see if I could get you any more information and the best thing I can tell you right now is to read your lease. In states like CA you may actually be required to give 30-60 days written notice if that is a stipulation of the lease agreement.

Look for a local attorney and see if they'll give you a consultation, learn your rights and don't get bullied into paying for another month. A lot of these places will just tell you things to keep the money coming. I got bullied by a management company and wish I had done more to protect myself...
