It's all about power for them at this point. That's all they really care about.

It's all just political showmanship. He will get the job, qualified or not, and dems are just hoping to get a good soundbite. Our whole system is broken.

That, to me, is the epitome of the issues facing our country right now. You can disagree with what he has to say, and that can be legitimate. But to not only disagree, but in addition think he was acting maliciously is astounding. He is a good person trying to help, imeven if you don't agree.

My daughter and I went to a Clippers (sorry Mark, if you read this 🤣) game this last year, and had a lot of fun. Even the cheap seats were pretty intimate, which is not the case at NFL games, for sure.

Yeah. That's the tough thing. I just cannot understand how the America I love has come to be this. But I have to find some way to maintain my own mental health over the next 4 years. Sometimes I wish I could be like many voters and be blissfully uninformed.

Honestly I believe that the US is still very patriarchal. Daddy needs to be in office and punish the naughty and reward the good boys and girls who are loyal. And mommy can never be elected.

I can't say what history will write, but I am disappointed more wasn't done to protect the innocent children who died for no good reason.

I don't agree. I am not religious, and I don't commit crimes. If the only thing stopping people from commiting crimes is religion, then they are bad people. Besides, no one is taking away religion. It just shouldn't be forced on kids in schools. Parents should take those kids to church.

I for one don't care. Let them speak. I can ignore and block them. I am not so fragile that I can't handle disagreement.

I don't understand why this would be an issue.

I don't mind well thought challenged and counter arguments. But some of it is just "stop whining" and things that make no logical sense. Trump is a bad person, by all moral metrics, so a sound argument would have to start by akin that, IMO.

You mean you believe in the science of medicine and haven't sexually assaulted anyone? Chin up, maybe someday.

I can agree with that. So far it is interesting, but I am not sure if it interesting enough to keep me coming back after the shiny new paint begins to dull. But I may be just missing the juicy bits since I am new here.

"corrective" rape as a child. I am a child therapist and I have heard many stories, but not that one yet. Wow.
