This is minor, but was Lufthansa flying a twin engine on such a long (Frankfurt to Texas it looks like) flight in 1989? A 747 seems more likely.

From the video I've seen, the ship appears adrift and heads towards the bridge stern first. I don't think they were trying to go near the bridge at all. I bet the boat or the tug lost engine power, got stuck in an East River current, and that unfortunately was that.

It's so frustrating because there's precedent for both these things. They could have done 6-12 highly detailed planets like Mass Effect. They could have borrowed from or hired the modders that have improved FO4's inventory sys. Instead we got launch day No Man's Sky with an Oblivion/Skyrim inventory

Swiss cheese! It started to lose its characteristic holes and when the Swiss studied the problem they figured out that we had made the milking process too clean. So they had to research which food safe impurities could be added back to the milk
