I did a lot of typing this morning, and at some point just became hyper aware of my hands. I know there's proper typing technique, but I'm 37 years in and my "three digits for letters/numbers + dedicated digits for other stuff" hasn't failed me yet.

In my job, I occasionally need to read/audit academic papers. Usually for inclusion as readings in courses. And I often have a hard time reconciling that all the things I was taught *not* to do in my undergrad (age of citations, filler sentences to bulk up the word count, etc.) are all the norm.

Some friends use a social fitness app called Strava to track their runs, hikes, walks, etc. So I decided to sign up. I'm importing the last 3 years of data from my watch, and it keeps categorizing the majority of my walks as runs based on (presumably) the speed I walk.

Just ran a workshop. Every time I run a workshop it's basically a three step process of: 1) Pre-workshop: "I've got this, easy peasy." 2) Mid-workshop: "Oh fuck, what the hell am I actually doing? Oh dear god, why did I do this?" 3) End of workshop with people thanking me: "I guess that was fine?"
