I just read this very story last weekend! Such a great book and really wishing EC had done more issues. If I get to it someday I really want to do a noir prose & art graphic novel in this style.

Whoops it's MST3K but anyway pure glazed 1970s TV movie ham with a side helping of Dick Sargent! 😉

Have you ever seen Parts: The Clonus Horror? I watched the RiffTrax of that and Graves serves up cold deadpan ham in it.😆

Probably (of the ones I've seen) The Blue Dahlia but he's also really good in Man In The Net, which I've yammered about before.

Yes I still have them all in not-so-great shape but they're loved, even rolled up for storage.

Sure were. I miss big ass record and video stores too. I appreciate being able to find niche stuff online, but there's no magic like going for a hunt in a store hoping to strike gold or take a chance on something bc of a cool cover.

Same w/ my college town B&N I worked at for 20 yrs. Built in '95, it was ~30K sq ft & gradually lost half its product space as we approached our closure. It barely withstood the Amazon boom, & Dot Com & Great Recession busts but a reneged lease killed it. It was dinosaur long past its day.

Sad but surprised it lasted this long with print costs being ludicrous these days.

Great seeing renewed respect for TMP in the last few years. I've loved it since 1979 and the 1983 "Special Longer Version" videocassette was my comfort watch.
