I guess anything is better than having RFK jr make these decisions on his own.

One question. When will he resign. No seriously. Dude is a POS who only speaks nonsense. There's no point in asking him anything else.

No. Let's be honest. The TACO cult will drink the Kool-aid with or without the Epstein files.

When is Gavin going to address the LAPD's brutality against the protestors. Looks to me the LAPD is treating people much worse than the Feds are.

I was about to say the same thing. Looks to me Gavin is just a cog in the machine that works against the people.

Wow, everyone is so cheerful tonight. Too bad, cause the weather is pretty nice in most of the country right now.

Oh right cause we all would love to see President Bondi or President Noem in the oval office. Maybe it just a certain type of people that are too emotional to be leaders.

I mean. Let's be honest. Many said that after Jan 6th. And yet, here we are. I'll believe when I see it.

It was an awful event. But what was the cause of this incident. Those guns didn't start shooting on their own. We should look at the root cause instead of the tools. As a Va resident. I won't vote for anyone advocating for gun control while we have a fascist in office.

I'm sure the DHS is watching this thread. SO. Let me ask you. What are you going to do when Trump is out. Sooner or later Dems will regain control of the gov. Then what? P.S. "I was just following orders" is not a valid defense.

Aww that's too bad. I was really rooting for them. Just in case I need to clarify. {Sarcasm}.

My money says you are absolutely right. And that's the part the gets me the most. But it's good to know the US is the only country with this issue.

It's the old cliche. They sent a loser because they weren't actually trying to win.

That's a bold move. If they get it right, they will be the heroes that stood up to the tyrant. If they get it wrong. They will be forever be known as losers. Which would actually be a bad thing.

Comparing ICE to Gestapo is bad. Comparing FEMA to the Gestapo is good. MAGA always has the most creative shit to say.

Because Walmart bent the knee when they should have held the line. They made their bed now they can lie in it.

It is. But that applies to all of Congress. Right now Dems are the only ones willing to even talk about. They need the support of the rest of Congress and SCOTUS. Which they don't have and as we know, they are the minority. It's pointless to try right now.

One step at a time. Maybe I will maybe I won't. But that's not going to stop me from trying.

i'm all for rocking the boat. When there is something to gain. Rocking the boat when the boat is already sinking doesn't help keep the boat afloat. Now is the time to start bailing water, not rocking the boat.

I guess you forgot about the Dixie-Crats and decades of supporting Jim Crow laws. The Dems didn't care for FDR. They only got onboard with the program because they (for once) knew it was the correct path.

It called transparency. And I couldn't give two shits about my credibility on the internet. But the fact remains. The Constitution does not state Congress has to impeach, but that they could if they so choose.
comment in response to
post
I think you have it completely backwards. Dems were (not long ago) very conservative. The conservatives went to the GOP and left a vacuum. Centrists and Liberals filled that vacuum. They didn't need to hijack it, because it was given to them. The DNC has never been truly progressive.
comment in response to
post
I never said it would be easy. But the law does allow it.
comment in response to
post
Don't get me wrong. Impeachment needs to happen. I just don't think the Dems are in any position to even attempt it. At this time. They need to secure the votes before moving forward. Which they aren't even close. Doing right now would be foolish.

According to Google AI, and everything I was able to find. No, Congress does not have to impeach someone. The power of impeachment is a constitutional tool, and Congress has the discretion to use it or not...
