They're also still an indie, they may have more money now because of the success of Hades, but they still only have 25 people on staff.
Right now, SAG says "It doesn't matter if you have protections, you sign with us or you're for AI". That's how this all feels and reads to me.

They have talent that is not based in the US, which would lead to pay equality, not to mention at least 50% of the voice acting is in house staff from Supergiant (Darren Korb, Logan Cunningham).
They sign an agreement, it means that possibly they take cuts as well as outside talent.

Is it really all that great for PR for SAG-AFTRA if they outright said that? Especially with Supergiant saying they support the strikes?
That would actually make both sides look much worse-- Supergiant would be seen as petty, and SAG would have mud slung in their direction unnecessarily.

People need to chill out. This isn't a "Your with us or against us" situation. The strike here is making people see everything as black and white.
This is still an indie game company, the terms for signing an interim may restrict them in other unrelated ways. there is a reason for everything.

I think Bluesky is more for the "every man", everyone has an equal chance of having their voice heard. Twitter targets the negative.
It's not that bluesky is for fans, it's that this platform itself is inherently less negative. Genuine critiques are even more common here, which is necessary.
