I like Mayor Wu's tenacity, but all the requests will just be ignored. Then it’ll end up in court, where the case will drag on for years—by which time the federal government will have already done what they set out to do.

All the safeguards established by the Founding Fathers have collapsed. At this point, the only option that remains is for the people to rise up through force. The question now is whether someone will step forward to lead that movement, or if it will erupt spontaneously as a collective response

I served 21 years in LE and was involved in crowd control during events and protests. Not once did anyone in my department resort to the kind of actions I’ve seen from the LAPD. If this is what’s now considered acceptable, I’m glad I’m no longer in the profession. It’s an embarrassment.

The U.S. has repeatedly tried to use the military for foreign nation-building, but it fails because that's not what the military is designed for. So it makes no sense to expect them to handle crowd control either—it's simply not their role.

Had to lol at Mr. Globals statement and response to his own question of "Does that sound like America?"

We wait that long in the U.S., if not longer, but we also have to pay for the medical services on top of the wait.

Soon our phones will start acting like North Korean ones where you type one word, and the government replaces it with whatever they want you to say.

How are current ICE members continuing to maintain a security clearance when they are asked this question on every 5 year SF86 reinvestigation, "Have you ever been a member of an organization that discourages others from excercising their rights under the U.S. constitution or that of any state?"

Ms. Stansbury is saying everything in this video that Mr. Global has been saying in his videos about oil and gas.

It will take years to replace the software and hardware across government systems once a law-abiding administration takes over. The damage done will cost billions to repair, especially in terms of cybersecurity. Hopefully, any future administration will hold Musk accountable for the costs.

Canada needs to start investigating and holding corrupt politicians accountable, or it risks heading down the same path as the United States.

Almost sounds like FOTUS wants a Chinese-style communist system—just so we can have those bridges. Interesting since it sounds like he Is implying capitalism isn’t getting the job done?

When the plane story broke, I tried to come up with a typical MAGA-style response to the gift. I figured they'd bring up the Statue of Liberty—and sure enough, they did. You can pretty much predict their arguments if you take out logic and any understanding of history.

You make some solid points. I was thinking they could reach an even 10 wins, especially with the softer schedule and the factors you mentioned.

I've never viewed ICE as equivalent to traditional law enforcement. Their scope of responsibilities is quite limited, and based on my interactions, I often questioned the judgment and capabilities of some of the officers I encountered.

I'm not sure if FOTUS can be held accountable due to the SCOTUS prior ruling on presidential immunity, but hopefully someone is keeping a record of all the federal crimes being committed by those under him so they can be prosecuted in future court proceedings since they don't have immunity.

In a functioning legal system, this person would be charged with contempt and required to appear in court to respond. It’s a straightforward process, but it seems the U.S. has lost sight of basic criminal procedure.

Tony Schwartz, the actual author behind The Art of the Deal, would never endorse caving in before the negotiations even begin. 😃

I get it what your son is going though.I faced an ultimatum when I was 21 and chose to walk away. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Life-changing choices like this shouldn't be forced on you with an ultimatum.

This is the same guy the Dems said was no longer fit to lead the free world yet here he is, giving real answers to real-world problems. His mistake was not being on the media every day boasting about his accomplishment since people in the U.S. won’t take the time to read.

It seems this deal is limited to cars and steel, with tariffs remaining in place. The market will believe a full agreement has been reached until it's clear that it hasn't.

No...you're missing the point. She had the chance to steer the situation and channel the question and frustration directly toward AOC—something not many people get to do. But she lost control and blew it. We might’ve gotten some kind of answer, whether she liked it or not, and taken it from there.

AOC should have been questioned about it and she allowed the person the woman to ask a question. Definitely a missed opportunity by the woman who was shouting which is to bad because she might have won her point but didn't.

I'd rather get the question, hear the answer and escalate from there to a police escort.

Well, of course it's Biden's fault—Biden gave us a strong economy that made it easy for all us to afford cheap axes.

The protester missed an opportunity. AOC gave her the chance to ask a meaningful question and engage on an issue she clearly cared about, but instead she chose to shout. As a result, the protester came across as unconstructive and one-sided.

Securing the military is essential before completing a coup. They've already brought federal LE under their control. Who would have thought that placing all federal LE under a single branch of government would lead to total control. A major mistake by giving all enforcement power to the executive.

I have been expecting Japan to take this step and was surprised it hadn’t already. Japan and China hold a significant portion of U.S. securities, and this will likely become a factor in trade negotiations. The administration underestimated this and it will become clear who really holds the power.

Interestingly, Lending Tree reports that there are 1.7 million vacant homes in Florida. If more owners choose to sell these unused properties, it could lead to a real estate crisis in the state.

I was really high on White, but last year was a letdown—he always seemed to overcommit on the edge. Hopefully, that was more of a coaching issue than anything else. Milton Williams seems to like White so maybe the veteran experience being there will help White.

The best players left in the draft are at the defensive end and wide receiver positions. I'm guessing that they will go defensive end for the second round.
