I see what you mean, but it sounds like overthinking the word choice to me. I’m coming from the perspective of an English professor. I know that no matter how carefully I write a set of directions, someone will misread it. I do know that the intent of this test was to fail people regardless.

I agree. I just think that they think genitals are an easy way to exercise control and they’re going to find themselves caught in their own net. Like the Nancy Mace situation, people know it’s performative cruelty and can be deflated and defeated by smart people like Sarah McBride.

Of course they care that trans men have vaginas. That’s the whole point of these bathroom bills forcing people to use bathrooms that match their genitalia. Of course their ideology isn’t coherent. Hatred is often quite stupid.

DOGE doesn’t exist except in the imagination of Trump, Musk, and anyone else who takes it seriously. A president can’t simply create a government department, let alone a president-elect. It’s nothing more than talk at the moment and may not ever be more than talk.
