Recent Twitter refugee. Old school progressive. If you're MAGA and like what I had to say, you probably misunderstood it.

Yes, and this is a desperate attempt to keep people distracted from those issues. These manufactured right wing outrage issues have always been a way to distract gullible bigots from genuinely important matters.

Poor guy desperate to keep his gullible voter base distracted from the fact he's not doing a god damn thing to actually improve their lives in any way shape or form. Right vs Left is a distraction from Rich vs Poor.

Those are cops? They look like dumbasses who chickened out of actual military service but cosplay soldiers in some weekend suburban militia group that dress up in tactical gear and watches Alex Jones. 🙄

Being savage may win the Dems an election, but they'll just lose the next one without halfway decent economic policies to keep the working classes on their side. Then we're right back where we started from. 🤷‍♂️

Others have upped the ante. He's probably going to have to offer a bribe to get one.

TBF, it *is* a principled stance for Republican legislators so long as they're only disagreeing with a Democratic president. If they disagreed with a Republican, it'd be off to the gulag.
comment in response to post
Wishful thinking. They've mostly rolled over and shown Trump their bellies so far. The Dems serve their corporate donors first and foremost. Until their donors want Trump stopped, the Dems will be mostly useless.

New normal? Far right wingers have rarely given two shits about the Constitution unless they could use it against their opponents.

They're dolls. It wouldn't matter if the doll next to him looks like his wife.

Musk is still popular with right wingers, so criticizing him would be at odds with the Kartoonist Kelly satire.

He's exactly who I was thinking of. The government destroyed his life because of petty bigotry and was later goaded into apologizing for it decades after his death with a pardon, which constitutes admission of being guilty of a crime. A double slap in the face.

I don't know about SpaceX, but Twitter employees probably do. Pretty sure it's something he was demanding of the few software engineers he didn't fire.

You can justify it 9 ways to Sunday, sweetie. But it don't change the fact that it's the same fucking thing they did to gay men. If memory serves, it was "voluntary" for them to in order to avoid jail time. 👎
comment in response to post
You say that as if a court ruling is going to stop Trump. He has a history of just ignoring them.

I have a whole lot of issues with Biden, and I have very few good things to say about his presidency. But Biden didn't deport people without due process to a fucking concentration camp located in a foreign country. So maybe F right off on this particular comparison. 👎

Reminds me of the building contractor from "The Money Pit." No matter how far along in the construction they were, he'd always tell Shelly Long and Tom Hanks the project would take two weeks.
comment in response to post
In other words, they're going to treat them the same way they treated gay people in the 1950s.

Except that's the way he always looks.

That's a step up from his "Diaper Don" nickname.

He's a paid propagandist charged with conning people into believing the pro-corporate status quo benefits them and should be maintained.
comment in response to post
That's the thing. He proposed a few half measures that wouldn't amount to much and even that didn't really go anywhere. Walz looks pretty good in comparison to the GOP, MAGA, and establishment Dems on the national level, but it's still mostly window dressing.
comment in response to post
Duh-huh. I take it was easier for you to make up an argument to address than to address my actual comment. Your bullshit is tiresome and not worth my time. 🙄

He also failed to make any genuine systemic changes to the policing system in MN. The cops are still out of control.
comment in response to post
Wow, right wingers really did take us back to the 1950s. You know, back when they chemically castrated gay men.

Meanwhile, Larry the Cable Guy is still alive. He's on tour this year.

It was Musk's oversight that lead to the Cybertruck and the sharp decline in safety of all of Tesla's models. He needs to be removed from the company's management entirely. He was poison to the company even before his little Nazi salutes.

You have to actually believe what you're saying is true in order to be wrong. That guy is just plain lying. I'd put money on him being on the Meta payroll.
comment in response to post
I'm a man and that's pretty on par with what I think.
comment in response to post
Wait... Are you suggesting their "Shut up and vote for us without expecting anything of substance in return lest you get blamed for the Republican winning!" strategy is failing to win over voters??? Are you sure???
comment in response to post
"Ethnic cleansing has become the official policy of Israel." Yeah, back in 1948. What do you think they've been doing for the last 80-some years? They're just being a whole lot more brazen about it now. Hitler could only dream about being this blatant about his ethnic cleansing campaign.

I would go to Walgreens if it were the last pharmacy in town. Same company allows their pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions and their cashiers to refuse to sell condoms based on their religious beliefs.
comment in response to post
Can you imagine the Dems saying this while the black guy was in office? MAGA would have started a civil war right then and there.
comment in response to post
They oppose "big government" when it comes to keeping corporations in check and helping the poor and working classes. But when it comes to corporate welfare and regulating what goes on in *other* people's bedrooms, the government can't get big enough. Funny how that works.

But they did learn that masks helped reduce transmission, something people seemed keen to UNlearn 100 years later.

The term schizophrenia wasn't coined until 1908, but the condition existed long before then. What does the ol' quack want to blame *that* on???

Triggered much? Either you consider yourself MAGA and/or trash or I wasn't talking about you. 🙄
comment in response to post
At first, I wasn't sure if you were talking about King Charles giving a speech, or if Trump started giving speeches while sitting on the toilet. Now I have the urge to douse my eyes in bleach in a vain attempt to rid my brain of that mental image. 🤢

Got my Costco membership a couple of weeks ago specifically to help eliminate my need to shop at Target or Walmart. Going there again Friday.
comment in response to post
My guess is they're going to try to court the MAGA trash that frequents Walmart. Bold move for a retail chain that worked so hard to brand itself as classy.

What I'm hearing is this boycott is going to go on for a while longer.

And bigoted AF.

The states with the highest poverty rates are both below the Mason Dixon line and Red states. They rank at the bottom of the nation for education, literacy, healthcare, life expectancy, child mortality, happiness, et cetera. Where's the "dignity" in that? Y'all are being played for suckers. 🙄

Most of the stores in town carry Polar, but not the grapefruit. They do a great lime though.
comment in response to post
Aldi has a decent one, but it's hit or miss if it's in stock. Costco's is a little more pungent like regular grapefruit and comes in a variety pack along with lemon and lime.

Artificially flavored sparkling water is my lifeline.
comment in response to post
Pretty much. I *love* pomelo and pink grapefruit, yet it is forbidden.
comment in response to post
And it's not just grapefruit. It's pomelo and closely related fruits such as grapefruit. I learned that lesson the hard way.

*That's* why they canceled it. Don't want people learning to stand up to false accusations.

Someone needs to put forth a bill that requires the Texas legislature to recite the Sermon on the Mount at the beginning of each session. You know, actual Christian values. Though somehow, *that* one would fail quite spectacularly.

What is the White House "stunned" about? That Hegseth might have actually accomplished something? 'Cause you know damn well they don't care in the slightest about the law breaking.
