It’s almost like you’re a multifaceted complex human being with your own thoughts and opinions about those in positions of power, regardless of which team they happen to belong to… crazy, I know! 😁

That book you wrote? It has some serious mixed messages. That’s messed up a lot of people who take it seriously…

Unfortunately they’re under-represented as compared to Quebec. If we wanted to fix that, we’d either need to remove seats in Quebec or add many more seats to Parliament to make up the difference.

In my opinion, it actually goes back further than that, to Trudeau Sr.’s National Energy Program. That set off a lot of resentment in the prairies, which was then further stoked by the lengths Ottawa went to address Quebec separatism, and has just been steadily growing ever since.

Slight correction. 59% of *voters*. ~33% of Canadians didn’t vote at all. That being said, having recently been redistricted out of the Carleton riding, I’m pleasantly shocked to hear that PP is becoming “The Unelected Leader of the Opposition Party”. 🤣

Nothing wrong with them. While Carney has been a welcome change, it’s still the same Liberal party that has been running the show for the last decade. A lot of people have very valid issues/concerns that the Liberals have not addressed and to them, the Conservatives had a compelling message.

Still not entirely out of the woods. About 41% of Canadians voted for Maple MAGA and even if they didn’t win, they still picked up approx. 24 seats.

Speaking as a Canadian, I get what you’re saying. I can drive across Ontario for 2 days and still be in Ontario!
