Oops. I messed up. You have Xiang Xiang! 😳

They’ll name their first twins Edgar and Oisin. Or Edwina and Oisina.
comment in response to post
Me too! It’s such a safe place.

I hoped you were still together. Take her to France and elope!

The girls are so big! And beautiful!

One of my kitties (Mallory) had allergies too. And was with my son and it was so bad she was pulling out fur chunks. When she came to California she immediately got better. Maybe they need to send you (and your lady panda) back to France! You may be allergic to China.

I’m sure your longterm girlfriend does not have cooties either. šŸ˜‰

Now I’m wondering if @yuanmengpanda.bsky.social has to have flea treatments too. I never thought of parasites being a sign of a healthy environment but it makes sense. Everything has a purpose.
comment in response to post
Kaleah does too. She gets dandruff sometimes. I imagine lots of cats do but it’s so visible on her black fur.
comment in response to post
Chloe is highly indignant. ā€œI do NOT have cooties! Or fleas and ticks like outside animals get. I am a pampered lady.ā€
comment in response to post
Edgar doesn’t snarl? Kaleah lets me brush her; in fact she loves is. Grant will lovingly tolerate it.

I really respect him for refusing. I thought that was the right thing until he said that at her age and since she’d never had a Lion king before she’d be traumatized. She has another appointment next week. Getting Grant’s claws clipped too. He loves to kneed and I get scratches everywhere.
comment in response to post
That was taken before I had a lot of snarls clipped off. The groomer refused to shave her; he feels she’s too frail. So she’s a bit patchy now. But tell Oisin she said ā€œthank youā€ and blew him a kiss. 😘
comment in response to post
Agreed. I wasn’t going to keep supporting anything to do with ā€œElmerā€ as @pandachronicle.bsky.social calls him.
comment in response to post
I think he needs to go back and review physics. Specifically about gravity. He does know branches break, right?😳
comment in response to post
There is something about the panda girls and round, fluffy faces. Out @sandiegozoo.bsky.social girl has one too.
comment in response to post
Thank you! I miss Josiane and her posts about the French pandas. And I didn’t know if Dou Ban’s writer had changed her name.
comment in response to post
Is Bei Bei over here? And Dou Bon? I miss the panda/gorilla/orangutan group. 😭
comment in response to post
But then how could you look so photogenic against that green backdrop?
comment in response to post
So glad! If it’s environmental allergies hopefully he goes on the list to pair up (is Xie Xie still single?) and get to relocate!
comment in response to post
(She is still pretty btw. Just tiny. And she thinks you’re cute!).
comment in response to post
My sweet pretty girl says thank you. I šŸ’•šŸ±

I heard you had an ouchie? Not sure what happened but hopefully you’re better.
comment in response to post
(Sorry,Oisin. I needed a laugh this morning. I love you šŸ’•).

Fox: but we have to train for the Predator-Prey World Championship! Don’t you want to win a medal? Dreamies would give you a sponsorship.
comment in response to post
Fox: You don’t think I can be adorable too? 🦊

I love that they have the peep window so they can ā€œtalkā€.
comment in response to post
I love all animals. Dogs, cats, pandas, foxes…
comment in response to post
She’s gradually getting more affectionate. Doesn’t like to be cuddled but tolerates it. Talk again soon!😊
comment in response to post
I guess I ought to get some sleep. Thank you for the talk. Hug your kitties for me.

Hopefully it evolves if it’s meant to. If not, enjoy the fantasy.

I’m surprised Mittens isn’t keeping QB and Binky Li in the White House and charging people to see them.
comment in response to post
I can sort of understand that. Sometimes it’s better if we don’t get what we ask for. My divorce taught me that. At the time I was destroyed and would have done anything to save my marriage. Now I know it was the best thing that could have happened to me.
comment in response to post
Good grief. Why don’t you take the leap and invite him to dinner? He needs to meet ā€œthe childrenā€ and see if they approve.
comment in response to post
I’m glad none of mine remind me of the others. Each had their own personality and quirks.
comment in response to post
But what a beautiful passing for her! Under beautiful lights in the arms of the person she loved most.
comment in response to post
That is a long and full life. Grief does destroy the immune system and let cancers or infections take hold. And I honestly think our cats send us ā€œnew catsā€ from the rainbow bridge. I’ve never been cat free for long.
comment in response to post
Oh no. What horrible timing though. I’ve blotted dates though I remember every loss so clearly.
comment in response to post
I hear you. I’m so sorry. šŸ˜ž I’m glad he was home and happy with you.
comment in response to post
Hugs and I so appreciate this. ā¤ļø
comment in response to post
I hope I didn’t upset you asking this. I’m sorry.
comment in response to post
Oh I’m so sorry. It hurts so much to lose them and not knowing is worse. Terrible question but were you able to let be used for any educational purposes after death since his cancer was so rare? I’ve donated each of mine for educational purposes.
comment in response to post
Not bad at all. That would be worth it. She’s down to 3kg or less. Thank you for the talk.
comment in response to post
Wow. Totally worth it. All of mind except Kaleah have aged out.
comment in response to post
I’ll take her in and ask them to specifically test for thyroid. I might even ask for a trial of medication. No hospitalizations or radiation though.
comment in response to post
Agreed. And insurance will drop a senior cat.
comment in response to post
None of those signs. She does have bouts of vomiting but they did X-rays when I took her in before and there was nothing obvious. At that time her labs weren’t bad either though she looks worse now. She doesn’t seem to be in pain, though they cover well for that.

My cats will only tolerate vets and I have really kind and gentle ones. The worst I can say is that they lean toward being aggressive. Sadly I suspect that’s financial.
