One of my kitties (Mallory) had allergies too. And was with my son and it was so bad she was pulling out fur chunks. When she came to California she immediately got better.
Maybe they need to send you (and your lady panda) back to France! You may be allergic to China.

Iām sure your longterm girlfriend does not have cooties either. š

Now Iām wondering if @yuanmengpanda.bsky.social has to have flea treatments too.
I never thought of parasites being a sign of a healthy environment but it makes sense. Everything has a purpose.

Kaleah does too. She gets dandruff sometimes. I imagine lots of cats do but itās so visible on her black fur.

Chloe is highly indignant. āI do NOT have cooties! Or fleas and ticks like outside animals get. I am a pampered lady.ā

Edgar doesnāt snarl? Kaleah lets me brush her; in fact she loves is. Grant will lovingly tolerate it.

I really respect him for refusing. I thought that was the right thing until he said that at her age and since sheād never had a Lion king before sheād be traumatized. She has another appointment next week.
Getting Grantās claws clipped too. He loves to kneed and I get scratches everywhere.
comment in response to

That was taken before I had a lot of snarls clipped off. The groomer refused to shave her; he feels sheās too frail. So sheās a bit patchy now. But tell Oisin she said āthank youā and blew him a kiss. š

Agreed. I wasnāt going to keep supporting anything to do with āElmerā as @pandachronicle.bsky.social calls him.

I think he needs to go back and review physics. Specifically about gravity. He does know branches break, right?š³

There is something about the panda girls and round, fluffy faces. Out @sandiegozoo.bsky.social girl has one too.

Thank you! I miss Josiane and her posts about the French pandas. And I didnāt know if Dou Banās writer had changed her name.

Iām surprised Mittens isnāt keeping QB and Binky Li in the White House and charging people to see them.

I can sort of understand that. Sometimes itās better if we donāt get what we ask for. My divorce taught me that. At the time I was destroyed and would have done anything to save my marriage. Now I know it was the best thing that could have happened to me.

Good grief. Why donāt you take the leap and invite him to dinner? He needs to meet āthe childrenā and see if they approve.

But what a beautiful passing for her! Under beautiful lights in the arms of the person she loved most.

That is a long and full life. Grief does destroy the immune system and let cancers or infections take hold. And I honestly think our cats send us ānew catsā from the rainbow bridge. Iāve never been cat free for long.

Iāll take her in and ask them to specifically test for thyroid. I might even ask for a trial of medication. No hospitalizations or radiation though.

None of those signs. She does have bouts of vomiting but they did X-rays when I took her in before and there was nothing obvious. At that time her labs werenāt bad either though she looks worse now. She doesnāt seem to be in pain, though they cover well for that.

My cats will only tolerate vets and I have really kind and gentle ones. The worst I can say is that they lean toward being aggressive. Sadly I suspect thatās financial.
