Looks like the sewage being pumped into Lake Windermere remains the Number 2 issue in the Lake District

I reckon Trump will be furious when he realises his car tax doesn't apply to Denmark. Technically, imported Lego cars are actually made in the USA

Breaking News, Trump has renamed The Atlantic, it is now The Ocean of America and has top security clearance

Useful Tip #42 If you don't like being shouted at by the self checkout, there is a settings button to turn down the volume. Now your poor scanning technique is your own little secret

Just watched an excellent film based on the true events at an Amazon fulfillment centre called Matewan. Oh, just checked, it's a true drama about striking miners in the 1920s and is possibly one of the best films ever

Number 7. Black Rain. It's 1989 Ridley Scott everyone. Cops, Yakuza, Oscar for the sound, what more do you want? Michael Douglas and Andy Garcia? Well have them, plus Al Leong, top Die Hard henchman playing a Yakuza henchman. Nice.

As no one has requested a court order for me to stop, I shall continue with my film selection. Are we sitting comfortably...

Option no.6. Red Rock West Early 90s film with Nic Cage and Dennis Hopper in small town noiresque (that is a word) crime based goings on. Mr Cage does his thing and a lot other recognisable actors in it make this reet enjoyable

Right, next film. The Package The always excellent Gene Hackman and a younger, slightly grizzled, Tommy Lee Jones in a decent cold war thriller, released just before it ended. Good tense stuff and not massively known. Another solid appearance from a Steyr AUG

Film no.4. House of Games. Written and directed by David Mamet, proper con artist grifting magnificence. Superb Joe Mantegna and Lindsay Crouse, late 80s again and critically acclaimed, probably very well known, so not really a mystery treasure

I heard Mexico and Canada are getting Google Maps to call the Bering Strait the Bering LGBT+

Jeef's films, no. 3. Best Seller, Late 80s thiller with peak James Woods (acting) and an always solid Brian Dennehy. Decent story and it stuck in my mind as something a step above other stuff out at the time

Jeefs movie nod number 2: Into the night It's a John Landis 80s action comedy, with Jeff Goldblum playing Jeff Goldblum. Add Michelle Pfeiffer and a bonus David Bowie and enjoy. Please bear in mind this is not a milestone in cinematic history and it probably hasn't aged like a fine wine; I liked it

Jeefs Film Recommendation Number 1. Running Scared, a comedy cop film from the late eighties, stars Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal. Just excellent, if you don't like it you are wrong.

I miss accidentally watching weird/niche/cult films on late night tv. So I will be giving recommendations of films that I thought were great and you have to now seek out rather than randomly discover. If you dont want this free service text STOP
