To avoid licensing issues, the Evercade version of Barkley Shut Up and Jam was renamed to "Hoops Shut Up and Jam" and Barkley head was swapped with a generic angry dude called "Joe Hoops". Please provide theories as to why he's so angry. Thanks to gosokkyu for the pics.

I beat Super Metroid today. It is a really good game, and I loved it very much, and it reminded me of how-- not unlike the assassination of JFK-- video games have a way of seeming like just a really fun pleasant time, but then suddenly they hit you with surprise emotions that you never saw coming.

Thinking about when I demoed To a T in December. I turned to Keita Takahashi and said that I love that he's so committed to making oddball games that go off the beaten path and asked what draws him to that philosophy.
