Good job, Chuck. You are doing something, which is better than usual for you. Now why not take a real decisive action, like stepping down as Senate minority leader and allowing someone else a chance at mounting an actual, effective resistance?

This survey works very poorly on my phone and my laptop, freezing up repeatedly.

I am considering trying her out in a deck, but with the proliferation of tokens in modern MtG, I expect her to be much less powerful than was true back when she was banned.

In two cases, Trouble in Pairs leaving the list and Field of the Dead joining the list resulted in decks ending up with the same number of game changers.

I agree with all of the cards added to the gc list. I had suggested several here and elsewhere. I prefer to play in 3 vs 4, so ended up changing out 17 cards across 10 decks, mostly tutors and TPro.

I was tempted to keep game changers and upgrade some decks to full bracket 4, but I really prefer to play in 3. The deck that needed the most game changer cuts was Windgrace, with 3. In two cases my number didn’t change, with Field of the Dead swapping game changer slots with Trouble in Pairs.

I very much feel the opposite. Grave Pact effects offer a very needed counter to low-creature builds like storm and voltron decks and are an essential component of black control strategies.

It will all depend on how it is done, of course, but I am hopeful. If they can combine some of the feel of early Magic history/lore with the scope of the Warhammer crossover, I think it could potentially be pretty darn cool.

In contrast, Duskmourn seemed more focused on memes and pop culture commentary, and while some of that was very clever (Meathook Massacre 2, for example), I feel the MtG-ness got sort of lost in the mix.

Different things work for different people, but it’s clear some things are more broadly popular than others among Magic’s core audience. For me, Bloomburrow pushed the boundaries in a way that felt more MtG-like, drawing on a classical fantasy subgenre re Redwall, Watership Down, etc.

Typo = few, not fee
comment in response to post
I think he’s correct about that. I feel very strongly that way. More Tarkir, Bloomburrow and Foundations, please, and fee or no hat, racecar or tv and cheerleaders sets.

Everyone who took part on that call, and everyone who lied about it and is trying to cover up what happened, should be fired. All of them, without exception.

This is really the only appropriate choice right now. As an American, I find the state of our government both disgraceful and embarrassing. Be safe.

People are wanting leadership, and for Democrats to act like an actual opposition party. Schumer stepping down as Senate minority leader would be a great step in that direction. There are several better choices in the Senate.

The Democratic party's leadership is dangerously out of touch with their grassroots support, and it is time for a change in leadership, for leaders that will act as an actual opposition party. If more people send the same message re: funding, perhaps the party will listen and change can happen.

Hatebear dragon is really interesting. It shuts down mana rocks and mana dorks, completely hoses walkers, prevents most ways of equipping, etc. The mana value is high for a hatebear, but is balanced by strong stats and being a flier. It being a dragon will also be relevant.

I continue to find it amazing and more than a bit sad how Vampire Nighthawk, which was once and for a fair amount of time considered one of the most cost-efficient creatures ever designed, repeatedly gets power-crept toward irrelevance.

Yeah, a friend of mine has a Howler deck this will slot nicely into. Good call.

Wow, that is crazy powerful. This will definitely be finding a home in my Amareth enchantress deck, turning Theros gods, pegasus tokens and random enchantresses into serious threats while easily pushing the commander into one-hit-kill territory. That's a card alright!

I like this one quite a bit. I am not a MLD person, but spot removal for problem lands is very important, and having it on a hefty dragon for 4 works for me.

I agree this is very good. I have not run Regrowth in awhile, but I am much more likely to run this sort of effect as an instant than as a sorcery.

Still a cool, splashy card, though.

I don't think Jund dragon decks/ones with a heavy green element will necessarily want it. We already have Last March of the Ents and Genesis Wave, which aren't dependent on already having a bunch of uncast dragons in hand. My only current dragon deck is Ziatora, where Last March wins on cast.

When 9 of your fellow Democrats + a supposed independent ally voted yes on cloture, it was a foregone conclusion that all amendment attempts would be blocked. The shutdown would have been a better outcome. Schumer’s tenure as minority leader needs to end immediately.

REPLACE SCHUMER WITH SOMEONE EQUAL TO THE TASK. There are great options. Adam Schiff Elissa Slotkin Rafael Warnick Ron Wyden Amy Klobuchar Elizabeth Warren Cory Booker Michael Bennett Tammy Duckworth Tim Kane Mark Kelly Jeff Merkley Patty Murray Jon Ossoff Sheldon Whitehouse. Bernie Sanders

Schumer needs replaced as the Senate minority leader immediately. No donations to any Senate Democratic race or to the DNC until/unless he is replaced.

I am fine with donating to individual candidates, but if the DNC is okay with Chuck staying on as minority leader. I am not okay with the DNC. If enough other people make the same stand, the DNC will have to decide whether they care more about Chuck or their and our future.

You are a traitor. You should step down as Senate minority leader immediately. I will be donating nothing to the DNC for as long as you hold that position.
