In all likelihood, she will be court martialed and kicked out of the service with a dishonorable discharge.
When applying for jobs, she will have to explain the dishonorable discharge, if she can get interviews.

If Trump solidifies his dictatorship, there's nothing stopping him from halting the pay of veterans that don't bend the knee.
They're cutting Medicare.
They're going to cut Social Security.
They may go after some military retired pay.

You just don't let a 60+ ton tank roll around all by itself without 1 or 2 guides.

Just my personal experience from long ago.
Most of the soldiers I was in with joined for economic reasons, needed a job.
Some were patriots.
Some were following family traditions.
Most just needed a job and a way to get going in life.
Enlistments are up today because of a poor economy.

They are out of the weather, they have food and water.
This is not unusual at all.
Only 0.38% of Americans are in military service right now.
Only 6% of adults are veterans.
Most Americans don't know what military life is like.
