💡 toddler parenting hack: my 3 y/o cannot abide by "broken" food. if you tear her tortilla in half, if the baby bell cheese breaks, all is for naught. HOWEVER, I have reframed this from "broken circle" to "two semi circles make one whole circle" so now when her food breaks, they're still shapes.

if you were laid off today the very best thing i did for myself after i was laid off was 1) pitch gaming stories to non-games outlets, they do want these stories and don't have people with the correct knowledge in their rosters and 2) start applying your skills to non-games beats

I can’t think of another medium that has this problem. People who love to read books usually will read new recommendations, boardgamers will try new games, movie buffs watch new movies. How did we end up with some ingrown idea that one TTRPG is all you need?
