It’s tempting to think how sad it is to see some traditions die lol

Oh Geeze I can’t even imagine 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is my first time seeing this tradition. Does it normally look this awkward? Looks like Scheer is trying to hold the guy back lol but it looks lighthearted so I’m glad to see that at least. Do we know the vote count results for speaker?

Loved that scene from the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival where John Cleese “shoots” Ben lol I’ve always found that kid insufferable. Now I know why. m.youtube.com/watch?v=OtmM...

Given that 24 Sussex Drive is condemned and is in the process of being closed, that would be hilarious.

Hadn’t heard of Mammoliti so I googled it and found Giorgio Mammoliti’s Wikipedia page. Geeze he’s a conundrum and a mixed bag, for sure.

Exactly. Our provincial GDP makes us the richest province in the country ($1,119,545 in 2023, 38.16% of the national GDP) yet we “can’t” help the poorest among us.

In our research, the battery had less range than the fuel consumption did. I’d have to look into it again. We’re rural so range is important to us.

My little Nissan Sentra is on borrowed time for sure. We were hoping that the next vehicle purchase would be an EV. Now we don’t know what we’re going to do because the market seems unstable due to the tariffs and we were hoping that the battery technology would have improved by now.

Booker?! As in, the 25 hour filibuster dude?! Good grief 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wish Carney would’ve kept the carbon tax as I feel it would have made the case for EV demand. But I’ll see what he does in terms of renewable energy for vehicles.

And to add insult to injury, trump is courting the very people who played a part of that tragedy.

Nope. To my politically amateur eyes, it looks like this is protocol. I’m definitely learning about how things work this election cycle.

What does SAS stand for in this context?
comment in response to post
Yup, BQ is expected to file a legal challenge. Looks like this is following protocol. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

To answer her question “what is your point?” His point is that you’re full of shit and you belong in CECOT and not these individuals being held without due process.

I’m sure that price gouging will happen for non-US goods.

In the mid 80s, I was on the beach with my young family and the family next to us were cooking hotdogs. They asked if we were Canadian and then “ do you have hotdogs up there in Canada?” I told them yes, we eat them frozen on stick.

This is not true.
