"She’s got a solid record of supporting marginalized, vulnerable groups," she said as the Biden administration helped a genocide happen.

No, but I'm familiar with elements of it from his other works. Another thing I've mentioned before on Bluesky, and recently, RAW was the first person I read who treated Crowley and Thelema in good faith.

I've been sharing this a lot lately in reference to him.

One of the few Duquette books I haven't got around to reading yet, but generally speaking you can't go wrong with him

it's even funnier. if i'm not mistaken, the god in question shot lasers from his eyes or something

I don't want to talk out of school, but I've also heard some things about M. V.'s feelings on race that I'm not too fond of either, but I'm not that familiar with the controversy.

I like Shoemaker and DuQuette. I don't know Xara. I have some real problems with Visconti (his interactions with Justin Sledge have shown me he's more interested in respectability than accurately portraying Thelema to the point he very often agrees with Sledge on points that are plainly wrong).

unlike transphobes, it's difficult for a possum to get rabies.

A hidden yod also appears in ABYO (ABiYO), the word that unites the four worlds of creation.

And, no, a hidden yod is not a blind--it's just good o'l fashioned rabbinic kabbalah.

(link for above) You'll quickly see that Crowley didn't really obscure the word nearly as much as people would have you believe, and those same people are the ones who have been obscuring it. There's no blind other than the original color encoding in Crowley's drawing.

The blind isn't a particular letter in the word; the blind is making sure the online text and the printed color reproductions screw up the colors. The blind is then promulgating the wrong word. Thankfully, you can go look at good color scans, grab a copy of 777, and figure out what the word is.

I also believe that people who believe everything is a blind go out of their way to create blinds. A good example of this is the discussion around the secret word in Pyramidos.

They're trying to appeal to voters on the right who never--never--vote for them no matter how much they sacrifice their principles.

The re-editing/re-organizing of Samekh into something parseble is worth the price alone.

What's funny about this to me is that, even though I was already a practicing Thelemite by the time a read RAW, he was the first person who I'd ever read who approached Thelema in good faith. He was wrong about a lot of stuff, don't get me wrong, but it was a nice change of pace.
