Are you regularly in Cambridge?
I would love to a little later in the summer

I guess it's because in the global north heating is often necessary for survival and cooling is a summer luxury
And so people project that heuristic everywhere

There's something surprisingly soothing about having a robot giving you basic calls to action - even when you try and convince it that everything is more complicated.

I'm just being an idiot.
It's always been mostly vapid. I don't miss the 2010s "eveything but this time in a mobile app" much

Yeah, I liked the tech industry that reinvented established markets while making billions dodging regulation by putting it in an app with a dumb name by dropping the last vowelr
that was the best tech industry

Factory farming is the greatest crime ever committed bar none. Billions of animals bred in boxes to die.
One day people are going to look back at us and think we were pure evil.
I'm not even vegetarian, but yeah the whole "vegetarians/vegans are lame" vibe is dumb and toxic.

He called vegetarians "the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit, an affront to all I stand for, the pure enjoyment of food"
which gets more fucked up the more you think about it

One interesting thing is that it's very hard to put your finger on what exactly the social identity is that groups are preserving.
It's not specific people, or ideas. It's just vibes.
There's a weird effect where groups will dump key influencers when they say something off key.

with the caveat that musk is a utter moron, somehow we built several computers for every human being on earth, and many smartphones.
not to mention cars
all these would have seemed batshit insane to someone in the decades before

Personally, I don't want it completing 95% of the time. I wouldn't mind a hotkey that sent me a suggestion on demand now and then.
The chat tab is super helpful though.
Keep in mind you're talking to someone who thought smart phones wouldn't catch on lol
