The Russians are clearly running rings around them and pulling their strings. It shows 47 just wants it done any way they can.
Ukraine needs to play along until Europe can properly replace 47 and his muppets.

I agree entirely with what you say. The US has only ever put itself first! I guess from their view point that’s only right and proper, but this bunch of monkeys in charge? Have absolutely no idea what they are doing. In the UK we have politicians who have all totally lost touch with normal people.

We would all like to think that our respective governments are working away, making us safe. But budgets get ever tighter and it’s times in history like now, that the background planning comes to the fore.

Politics & diplomacy, both strike me as games where you have to be seen to be reliant on certain countries. As they currently might be more powerful than you.

47 will now get to watch as Europe+ grows both in military power but also in economic power. It is not inconceivable that in a reasonable time span Europe+ will surpass the US and China, we can all only hope this is a good thing if it comes to pass.

My 16 year old daughter is desperate to go to the States.

My main concern is China. China’s economy is not great at the minute, but that’s also a problem. Russia has land and resources they want, so a paralysed Russia might not stop China taking them or Russia. Who knows where this will all end? Fingers crossed!

Certainly without more western help and sanctions with sharp teeth, the likelihood of this happening is very low.
That’s not to say it couldn’t happen, but Ukraine can only do this by force with the help it needs to do it.

Ukraine has to join NATO, whilst we can all discuss it for ever. No other guarantee will have the same safe guards Ukraine needs in order to remain as safe as possible from future Russian attacks!
